Cas' POV

I felt like I was going to fall over any second now. A huge gash adorned the right side of my face. It spanned all the way from the tip of my eyebrow to the side of my lip. Blood was still dripping down, staining my shirt which also had puddles of blood coating it coming from three large gashes on my stomach. I was desperately trying to slow the bleeding using my black jacket to apply pressure onto the wound.

For several minutes, all I could hear was my own ragged breathing. It was unsteady and shaky. I knew I was going to pass out, so I sat down slowly on a rickety chair in the corner of the foul smelling room in the abandoned warehouse I was in.

Thoughts kept running through my head. What do I do? Why did all this happen? Where are the Winchesters when you need them. My vision started being enclosed in a shadow, my body started swaying. Before I could completely succumb to the sleep, I heard a deep, gruff voice I've heard so many times before. One that gave me comfort.

"Cas? CAS?"

.....

Dean Winchester

Dean's POV

I drove up to a seemingly abandoned warehouse. There were reports of attacks by what seemed like some kind of wolf. I knew better than that of course. I left as soon as I could, even leaving Sam to worry about me. I knew he would since I've been on edge ever since Cas disappeared a few days ago. I've been constantly praying to him to get his ass down here, but nothing ever happened. I was itching to kill something and get out of the bunker for a while. This seemed like any other werewolf hunt. Track it down, gank it with a silver bullet, get rid of it, and done. Boom.

I parked on a gravelly road. I took my gun out of my jacket, checking to make sure I had enough ammo. When I did, I moved stealthily inside, making sure to check corners and keep vigilant for any sound whatsoever.

I didn't see anything, and was about to call it a day and head back to the motel, when I heard ragged breathing of something. I pressed myself up close to the wall. I peeked around the corner, my gun pointed ahead, and saw a familiar face.

I put my gun back into my jacket, and immediately started walking towards him slowly.

"Cas? CAS?" I called out cautiously, hoping to anyone listening that he was okay.

I saw his body stiffenwhen I called out his name. "Dean?" I heard his voice croak out. It seemed tired and hurt. Like he was yelling at something for a long time until his voice gave out.

"Yeah, Cas. It's me. Cas what happened here? Cas?" I grabbed his face gently in my hands, plavcing my hand over his, and started shaking him, trying to keep him awake. He looked up at me slowly, his face looked even more tired, but I saw some relief flood in his face.

I looked at him again, my eyes scanning him making sure nothing else seemed wrong. I glanced beside him long enough to see a blood covered angel blade. "Cas what happened here?"

He finally opened his mouth, trying to form the right words. "D-dean..." I gave him a soft smile and looked him in his sky blue eyes. "Yeah bud it's me." He tried to smile but flinched in pain, then moved his hand off his face. It revealed a huge gash spanning pretty much the entire length of his face. It was bleeding badly. I don't know how I hadn't seen it sooner. My eyes were burning with tears that I refused to let loose. I got up, still keeping my eyes locked on him.

"Cas! Can you walk? I need to get you help, now!" I was panicking now, my eyes as wide as saucers. he slowly tried to get up and said, "Dean... I'm fine. I can wa-" he got cut short by falling forwards toward me. I caught him before he could fall too far. I lift him back up and put his arm around my shoulder, giving him support to stand up. "No, you're not. You're coming with me big guy. I need to get you patched up. Now how did this happen?"

He looked down at his feet like they were the most interesting things in the world. "You don't want to know."

I look at him somewhat angrily, getting outside and propping him on the side of the Impala. "No I don't Cas. I need to know, and you are gonna tell me. I care way too much for you, and if someone did this to you..." My knuckles were white, I was furious. "I'll rip their lungs out for hurting my angel." i said that through gritted teeth, then froze after realizing what I just said.

I saw Cas freeze when those words left my mouth as well. He looked me with a look on his face that said..."Dean, you would do that for me?"

"Don't give me that look." My cheeks were burning, and I was sure I looked like a tomato. I looked away from him for a few seconds before sighing and looking back down. " Of course Cas. I would do anything for you, my angel. I just can't see why anyone would want to do this to you. I want to know what happened, I'm begging you Cas!"

He stared at me, unblinking, confusion evident in his eyes. "Dean...I..." He then did the unexpected. He leaned forward and captured me in a tight hug. His hands clutching my jacket.

"Cas....."
