Emily Smith is the last person you would expect to have any kind of secret. As a tenth grader at Fairgrove High, she is a quiet girl who sits in the middle of the class with moderate grades. She has brown hair, brown eyes, brown skin; she's not particularly attractive, but not ugly either. Both she and the town are so average, it's almost peculiar.
Emily didn't always have a secret. This particular one was thrown at her completely unexpectedly, and quite unfairly, but she kept it. No one knows.
But high school has a way of weeding out secrets. And Emily doesn't know how long she can keep it anymore.
