Elenas pov
The last thing I remember before everything went black was me admitting I had feelings for Damon. And then someone hit me over the head. As I start to wake up I notice I'm in the old Lockwood cellar. I see someone standing in the corner. "Who are you" I yelled. They laughed and stared walking towards me and when they got closer I recognized the person to be the one and only Katherine pierce. Before I could say anything thing else they was a flash and just like that Katherine was laying on the floor with her neck snapped. And I seen a pair of crystal blue eyes staring at me. I smiled right before I passed out.

I rushed to her side ripping the ropes right off of her. I picked her up and heard her mumble my name against my chest. I was carrying her through the woods when Stephen finally showed up but he looked .... different. But I put that to the side " where was you! She could of died" but all he did was ask where Katherine was. I just nodded and he rushed to her I kept walking until I say Elena begin to stir. I sat her down but still held her up I put her face in my hands asking if she was okay trying to get her to say anything. Her eyes finally came open she smiled and said she was just tired I laughed until I realized how close we was, we was centimeters apart with our eyes locked on one Another. My hand rested on her cheek and hers on my shoulder I couldn't resist it anymore I smashed my lips against hers.

Elena's pov
As his lips touched mine I wanted nothing more but to keep them there I put my arms around his neck and pulled him closer he gently pushed me back against a tree trailing kisses down my neck I kept moaning his name as his lips trailed my neck and hands explored my body. He all of a sudden quit I gave him a confused look when he slowly back away I was about to ask him what's wrong when Stephen slowly appeared in front of me giving me a hug and asking if I was okay I just nodded and stared at Damon. He started to walk but I yelled "Damon wait" and asked Stephen to give us a minute he agreed and started walking away I slowly walked up to Damon.
"Thank you for Saving me" I smiled
"Of course" he said with pain in his eyes
" what's wrong Damon " I asked my hand finding his cheek.
He stared at my hand a minute before responding "I can't do this anymore Elena"
"Do what?" I asked confused
He looked me in the eyes with a sad look and responded "this Elena I can't see you with Stephen anymore! It kills me every time I see him touch or kiss you! Elena! He replies with a single tear pouring down his face. I didn't know what to say I just looked down and said "I'm sorry Damon I didn't wanna hurt you" i quickly stated. He nodded his head and slowly backed up where our bodies wasn't touching anymore. He whispered a quiet "goodbye" and began to walk away at that moment my heart sank I needed him. I ran after him yelling his name they were fresh tears pouring down my face. He turned around his crystal blue eyes teary and filled with pain and sadness. I ran into his arms as they wrapped around me I felt whole loved and safe I never wanted that feeling to go away.

Damons pov
I loved the feeling of her wrapped around me but I know it couldn't last. I backed up and put my hands on her cheeks lightly brushing the tears away. "I love you,Elena never forget that okay? I love you so much that I have to go I can't be selfish with you" I whispered only loud enough for her to hear. But she nodded her head no and pushed her lips against mine it took me a minute to realize what was happening but when I did I couldn't help but kiss back. After a few minutes she pulled away and mummered   "I love you Damon , please don't leave me I can't do this without you" I just smiled and lightly kissed her for a response. She snaked her arms around my neck and pulled me closer I never wanted to let her go.
