I grab my fedora and black gown in case its chilly outside and my 9mm pistol, you can never be safe at night, I get in to my car and drive to the Humpting I was curious to find out what was going on. Outside I see john’s car parked parallel to the main entrance I got out of the car eased the door shut, I crouch underneath the huge transparent windows with every step I take thunderous because of the leaves of the trees surrounding the restaurant. As I was busy studying and observing the perimeter of the restaurant I hear disturbing screams.
I quickly rush to the main entrance of the restaurant. Kicked the door wide open but I couldn’t find anyone, all I could hear were screams I followed the screams, there was a silence and the screams were no more, I looked out the window I managed to spot a shadow running seemed like the person was carrying some sort of an object I thought of chasing after the culprit but I had to attend to the screams. I saw a trail of blood and clawed carpet that led to the pantry; I swiftly rushed to the pantry as I opened the door I get greeted by a peculiar smell and signs of struggles on the floor and on the wooden table besides the door. This is a scary thought, who would actually do this As I was busy giving every thought in my head a realistic point of view: I hear a snap adjacent the gardening tools, a shadow forms I could only see what seemed like hands the shadow is followed by footsteps, my adrenaline is running my tongue is even sweating, I get up and I walk to the side of the fridge cautious with every step, I take a peek to see what is making the racket, at first I couldn’t see anything but later small hands and paws come through to the small light that was provided by the small window beside the fridge, a head later appears with its full body following behind, a puppy? Great just what I wanted, stupid fur ball, I called the police to come and assess the matter as I had bigger puzzles to solve.
