He presses they keys and a nice melody of tune came out from it. He played diligently with feelings. And as he play, he took side glances to the woman he loved.

It has been two months since Miseok had her accident. It was unexpected. Who could have thought that a fall would lead to her being unable to see?

She nodded her head slightly to show that she was enjoying the music, with a light smile on her pretty face.

Her eyes are open, though she cannot see. And everytime she calls out Baekhyun’s name, the latter would bite his lips to stop himself from crying.

Watching her raising her arms aimlessly, waiting for his hands to take them and whisper to her that he’s already on her side, holding her tight. It broke his heart.

He had already ended his piece and turn to face his beloved. A smile escaped his lips when he found her sleeping soundly on her seat. He carried her in his arms and laid her down their bed.

After cleaning up himself, Baekhyun walked towards their balcony and oversee the sight outside. The sight which his wife would never see, that, he doubts.

He sighed. Lights flashes around and it’s because Christmas is approaching. How he wished for her wife’s sight to comeback. But from what the doctor said, there is 30% chance out of 100%. He raised his mug and sipped on his night decaf coffee.

He misses the times his wife still has her sight.

He missed how those eyes sparkle when she shows emotion. Unlike now, that whenever her face tries to portray a happy expression, her eyes tell the opposite.

He missed her hugs; her warmth on him. Especially when he sat on his piano and then she would hug him from his back, rests her chin on his head while swaying a little, listening to the music he plays.

He misses her homemade coffee.

He misses how she worked the chores and his fail attempts of helping her, specifically cooking.

He misses a lot about her.

He took another sip, while his other arm rests on the railings and inhales the cold night breeze. Sooner or later, snow will come down on earth.

It would be a white Christmas for them; their first time.

Things are different now that, they are in this situation. He tries to be positive about it, but whenever he had his lone time, his worries came rushing in and he can’t help but reminisce and feel regret.

“Baek, let shop for today! Christmas is coming, right?” she said cheerfully one fine morning.

Baekhyun was in the bathroom, and obviously they had just woken up. “Huh? Oh sure. Why not.” He said and then brushed his teeth.

A minute after, he heard rustles and things falling so he rushed out after washing his face only to find his wife on the floor helplessly picking up the utensils.

“Miseok, let me help you.” He said and crouched down to pick up all the things and helped her up.

She was silent. He gave her a look, and it broke him. He should have not looked at her. Her face showing a pained expression while trying to suppress the falling tears.

“Miseok…” he said and hugged her.

Her shoulders shake, she sobbed her hearts out.

“I thought I could make it since it’s been a month’s already Baekhyun.” She said in between tears.
