Oh my god I am so sorry for abandoning you guys I promise I will update again my wattpad has been going funny and crashing when i open this story and I have had a severe case of writers block but it's fixed now so I will continue updating

The nurse walks in with my mom, she rushes in and envelopes me in a bone crushing hug
"Oh Frankie baby are you alright? Do you want me to take you home sweetie pie?" and she kisses me forehead. I feel my face burn and Ray gives me a sympathetic look as if to say 'I get that all the time'.
"Mom I'm fine it's just a black eye, I've taken some Tylenol and I'll probably just be a bit sore for a few days." Mom looks unconvinced but I manage a smile so she turns to walk away
"Call me if you feel ill." she calls and I nod at her back and turn to go to my next class as the bell rings. Gym. God dammit.

I trudge into the gym 20 minutes late, it's rather difficult to find someone going to your gym class in a school of 500 kids and there are three gyms in the school, the athletics gym, the dance hall and the gymnastics center. Turns out I wasn't in any of those gyms I was in the sports hall. That's a fancy word for gym with the intent of confusing new kids.
After I've gotten changed into my gym stuff for soccer (my favorite sport!) it's also boys versus girls. Great! I stand off to the edge and inch my way onto the bench. A gangly boy with big glasses comes and sits beside me
"If anyone asks I've sprained my ankle." I say hastily, he nods
"Me too." he laughs "Hey you're the new kid that humiliated Darren! God man you're awesome!" A grin emerges on his usually passive face but it turns to a frown "The big D is gonna beat your ass to a pulp though."
"So I guess he really does like the D." I chuckle "What? I couldn't resist." I grin as glasses rolls his eyes.
"Seriously man, I'd watch my back if I were you. I'll ask my buddy Bert to watch out for you, he's pretty tough."
"Thanks dude." I fistbump him, I guess I've found my first friend in this place, though I probably won't be staying here long, D lover and his cronies are planning something. I know it.
