A hush falls over the crowd as a girl steps to the podium in the auditorium. She calmly speaks,"How many ways are there to show affection for one another? You say I love you with all my heart, do you mean that or is it just partial love?" Her eyes jump to each of her peers faces. She is very nervous, but she continued, " How does it start? Everything has a beginning. The Begining of time, Begining of life, eras, rainbows, relationships, etc. I'm going to talk about the beginning of one thing in particular, relationships." She looked to the person she liked, then her eyes continued scrolling through the auditorium faces. "Relationships. How do they start? Well a relationship is 2 or more people who have stated things that they like or love about each other." A quick pause as she once again looks to her crush. "They start with three words I like you. For some people they don't say it exactly say it in that way. But it's usually in the vicinity. If it's a couple of people, they may see that they have fallen in love with each other. So the statment is no longer 'I like you' it's 'I love you'. Most the time... I like you doesn't change..." gains eye contact with crush. "I like to believe I have a crush on you. You're my best friend. I'm not saying this to change that. That's up to you completely. I'm saying I like you." She smiled as she blushed and stepped away from the podium. Cheers rose from the crowd as they stood applauding. The crush stayed seated and watched the girl walk down the stairs from the stage. She walked straight towards him. Her best friend. When she approached him she smiled as she knelt down beside him, picking up his hands to rest them in hers. "I like you as more than my best friend. Do you like me that way?"
