Part 21

Part 21: Finding Myricle

Setting: The Park

Diggy's POV

I've searched almost every inch of the park. There's nothing. I am so deep into the forest I don't even know where I am right now.

I think I passed that rock an hour ago. 

I needed to find someone to help me.

I started walking around this time in a diffrent direction. 

I got a little tired so I sat down on the ground. I have been walking for about 4 hours.

I  must have dozed off because I woke up with someone shaking me.

It was a older woman.

"W-who are you?" I asked moving away from her a little.

"I was walking in the woods until I seen you here sleeping." she said.

"Oh thanks for waking me up." I said.

"Your welcome." she said.

"Do you know these woods?" I asked.

"Yes I walk here almost everyday." she said.

"I need some directions." I said pulling out some paper.

She drew me a map of how to get to the cabin and then how to get out.

"Thank you so much." I said giving her a hug.

"Your welcome. Go and find your girl!" she said patting me on the back.

I gave her a smile and started walking away.

"Wait." she said.

"What?" I asked.

"Be careful." she said waving at me.

I waved back.

I think this is it.

I was standing in front of a dirty wood cabin. It was really dark outside now.

I heard movement inside the house and decided to peek into the window.

I saw Jacob hitting Myricle in the mouth and then shouting some words at her I couldn't make out. She was dirty and had blood all over her.

I decided now was the time to come in.

 I got up from my spot and went over to the door. I wanted to surprise Jacob so I knocked on the door. He opened the door.

When he opened the door I punched in his face so hard I think I broke his nose.

"Diggy!" Myricle shouted running towards me.

I grabbed her & kissed her on her lips.

"I'm here." I said rubbing her cheek.

Since I wasn't facing Jacob I didn't see him getting back up.

"Diggy look out!" Myricle yelled letting go of me.

I turned around and quickly dodged his punch. I then started to send blows almost everywhere until he was knocked out.

"Myricle call the police." I said handing her my phone.

"Ok." she said walking outside.

I watched the police haul Jacob into the police car.

"We are very sorry ma'am." One of the police said.

"It's ok. Just make sure he doesn't get away." Myricle said wrapping her arm around mines.

"You ready to go home?" I asked Myricle.

"Yes." she said.

I took her arm and we started walking.

Myricle's MOM

I was in my living room watching TV. 

I prayed almost everyday that Diggy would find Myricle. 

"Mommy." Lia said coming to sit next to me on the couch.

"Yes Lia?" I asked.

"I hope Myricle is ok." she said wrapping her arms around me.

"I do to baby." I said wrapping her in my arms.

We heard a knock on the door.

"I'll get it!" Lia said jumping up and running over to the door.

She opened the door and her mouth dropped open.

"What is it Lia?" I asked.

"Ri Ri!" Lia said running over to the person.

There was only one person she ever called Ri Ri.

I walked over to the door to see her in Myricle's arms.

"MYRICLE!" I shouted hugging her.

I started crying. 

I thougnt I almost lost a daughter.

"Everything is gonna be ok mom." Myricle said hugging me. 

Soon enough Diggy wrapped his arms around us too.
