It was 7:30, and I was sitting in a classroom at the beginning of the school day-- on the first day of school! I was so nervous. I mean--I loved talking to my friends and hanging out with them but I hated the popular kids. They were so annoying. OMG, I got these hot boots at Hot Girl and they cost only 45$! Yeah, yeah, shut up.

I especially hated Adam. Adam was the left tackle in the football team, and he was a little demon! A lot of people think that football boys are dumb, but at my school all the football players were pretty smart-- especially Adam. Not only was he smart, he was strong enough to push a truck all by himself, and he bench pressed 258 pounds. He was so mean. And not just your regular teenage harassment. He nearly hit a teacher once because he got in trouble for turning in a late assignment. He always shoved me when I passed him, and would stare at me like I killed his brother. And his girlfriend was worse--one time she mixed bleach and ammonia together just because Sophia, my best friend, didn't want to give her a drawing she liked. Sophia was OK but she had to go to the hospital.

Actually, let's not talk about the bad. Let's talk about the good... my friends! Besides Sophia, Daniela, Miki, Amy, and Rin were my school friends. Kathryn, Lora, Layla, and Aiden were homeschooled. But right now I wasn't really friends with any of them because of the big fight-- it wasn't my fault...

I was hanging out with Daniela.

"Hey Daniela!" I said excitedly, hugging her.

"Umm...hi, Akame ." Daniela pushed me off.

"What's wrong? Are you hurt?" I was concerned, since Daniela wasn't usually this cold "Who touch the child?!"I yelled, referencing one of our inside jokes.

"I have to move in spring...that means we have only have 8 months together," she told me, finally letting me hug her and holding back tears.

"Why do you have have to move, is it because you found out that cows are really bugs from the future that trying to spread the plague?" I thought humor would help.

Daniela smiled sadly. "I have to move because the rent over there is cheaper," she cried softly. She was hugging me like I was her mom. I could feel sadness, friendship, and most importantly, trust. I patted her back and kept on telling her it was ok.

"Have you told the others yet?" I said as softly as I could.

"No... if I do tell them, then... they'll be happy," Daniela sobbed. She pulled back from the hug.

"Why would they be happy?"

"Because... because," she sniffled, "Because they're fighting and I'm in the middle of all of it!" Daniela turned and walked away, still crying, and I let her go.

If that was true, then I had to speak to them right then! I got out my phone and I told all of them to come over to the park.

Most of them were there a few minutes later. "Where's Amy?" I asked.

"She.... is hanging out with her new friends," Missy replied, madly.

"New friends? I'm confused, explain!"

"She doesn't  want to hang out with us because she 'wanted to try a new group.' We agreed to not be friends." Missy was sad and angry at the same time.

"I didn't agree to that, so I'm still friends with Amy!" I said angrily.

"You want to be friends with that brat?! Go ahead, I'm not stopping you!" Missy screamed, crying, but just barely. She went running, and I followed her. Whenever I caught up, she just started running faster, until I gave up...

I didn't want to be friends with Amy; she dumped us for the popular kids! When I talked to her over the phone, she sounded and acted different, but why? Was it because she had been hanging around popular kids-- or  did she just change over the summer? I had no clue what had happened to her, and I wanted to know. Maybe she got kidnapped by those evil cows from the future? Thoughts ran through my distracted brain. I needed to go to sleep-- the first class of the day was really boring. HIstory of yarn? Why did we need to.
