Bittersweet Revenge

Chapter 1: Onyx's Story

Onyx pulled her ebony hair into a tight pony. She smiled excitedly as she smeared her ruby red lipstick across her lips. She was going to surprise her boyfriend, Leo, with football tickets to see the Seahawks while he was at work. She knew he had a boring desk job and that this would cheer him right up.

She rushed into the building excitedly ready to tell him about the thrilling surprise but when she stormed into his office she sees him making out with a tall blond woman with hot pink lips and teeth as white as snow.

She was shocked and just stood there in awe.

"Onyx! Oh my god I swear it's not what it looks like."

"Oh it's not what it looks like? So your just accidentally making out with a girl who works with you? What is wrong with you?!"

" you know what onyx I don't like that tone. She's a person. Her name is carol. I'm sure you'd like her."

" oh my god, this isn't happening right now! I'm sorry carol, I wasn't really paying attention the fact that your a god damn human being when my dumbass boyfriend is cheating on me with you!"

"This isn't the time onyx. I'm at work, we can figure this out when we get home."

"Nuh uh. We're not "going Home" it's "my" apartment and now that you've done this your not living in it."

"Here!" Onyx said as she threw the tickets in Leo's face.

"You can go with Candace, I hope you two have a splendid time! I'm outta here shit  head."

Onyx left as she heard Leo scream behind her "don't take your anger out on me onyx!"

As onyx was driving home she was clenching the steering wheel in anger while crying uncontrollably.

Onyx went home and found Out Leo had left his phone there, she was curious to see if this had been an ongoing thing. She checked his text messages, there were multiple flirty ones to carol and ones about meeting up.

Onyx hated Leo, she hated him full heartedly.
