Sometimes it only takes one small thing to happen for something major to occur. It's like this world is an illusion a holographic projection. A society that doesn't exist, it's just a blur. The way you don't really know what you want at first, what your heart desires the most. That's just it isn't it? How will we ever know what we actually want at first? Love, Hope, Faith, a personality of another person? Maybe a superpower, how about that? We're all human everyone has to tell them self's at one point. But what makes us human? Another mystery of life, we'll all figure out eventually. Until then were still searching trying to find our rightful place in this world. Why God placed us here, the reason behind it and the purpose. As, we look upon the tides we all find our answers. One day the sun will shine again to guide us down the paths, we were meant to go down.

I guess you could call it another average day. That day that turns into weeks and those weeks that go into years. Time is precious, don't waste it, I'm told contentiously in the world soaring around me. I wish I would have known what they had meant. Maybe things are a little different from the way I might have seen them. I don't know yet, but that's a journey that's yet to be explored.

I opened my weary blue eyes and glared among the waxy diamonds dangling in the night sky. I was laid down smothered in comfort, from the warmth my bed provided. My mind was racing nascares in a speedway. I yawned, nevertheless I couldn't wind down. I got out of bed and grabbed the hard copy of The Land Of Stories off of my nightstand. My love for books always tended to help me calm me nerves and settle myself down. They took me on adventures not a soul would regret. I read and read until my eyes burned out, and a black blanket cast over me.

I stood on the mask of a ship, as it swayed through the glistening wave pools. Sounds of rolling water moved through my ears. Beautiful melodies of seagulls sang in the background. Salt from the ocean lingered in my nose. However my eyes locked straight ahead, staring at the vibrant sunset. I rocked back and fourth taking in every breath.
My eyes fluttered open, to the sound of the whistling robins outside my bedroom window. I delight in the songs of the birds every Saturday morning in Spring. I could already hear the morning hustle through my house. I heard the sizzling pop of the stove downstairs, cooking me up some bacon and eggs. My dad up working in the garage below me and the left on news channel in the living room.

I found my book lying on my chest where I had left it and pulled my covers down after sitting there for a minuet. Walking onto the opposite side of my bed and I opened up my blinds, freighting a baby bird, as it flew off. The sun greeted me, so I smiled back.

I poked along getting out of my bedroom door, on the faint side I turned left and stumbled down the wooden stairs. When I got to the end I glanced down at my bare feet. Oh well, I thought if I catch a cold I catch a cold. Speaking of that the floor is cold. I walked along the hallway to the kitchen. I wore a tank top and a pair of sleep shorts.

My mom was in the kitchen cooking a good looking breakfast. " Good morning sweetie" she told me. " G' morn'in mom " I replied in return. I walked towards her to give her a living hug. When I did so, she kissed my freckled cheek.
"Quick question. Where are you slippers?"she questioned me.
" I know mom, I was just to lazy to plop them on I guess..." I answered with a yawn.
" Ok, I'll let you get by this time but tommorow. Shoes."
" Yes, mam."

I dragged myself along and jumped up onto the kitchen counter, to sit down. I grabbed an apple from the clay potted bowl, sitting beside me and tossed it back and fourth between both of my palms, just to pass the time.

I glanced over at my mom expecting her to turn around and say something like, " Hey, I'm cooking, and that countertop is dirty, get down!" But the weird thing was she never even turned her back, something wasn't right. That I knew, and that I could sense.
I sat there for another minuet before climbing back down, before she could turn her head. In case she were to say something, she wouldn't know I was there. My mother had short brown hair, green eyes, and she wore a simple shirt with a matching pair of shorts. She always tended to have everything put together.
"Can I help you Finnish cooking, mom." I asked politely
"You could, exsept I'm done...now" she said leaning over her rusted pots and pans smirking, amused by her own words.
"Although since you asked. The kitchen can't clean it's self." She insisted, smirking even more than before. I let out a grunt, in reply. She was already off to a good start for the day. Well being an average mom trying to crack a joke I guess. All I could say was "I just got Momed"
"So, hey mom"
"Yes."
"Are we going to church tommorow?"
" I don't know yet it all depends on what we are doing. Why?
"No, reason." I answered lastly.
I grabbed my plate from the cabinet to the right of the stove.
"Food!" My mother screamed to my older and younger siblings upstairs. Being a middle child can be impossible at times.

I placed myself around the table to the seat farthest from the window; reason one, if it's storming I don't want to be struck down by a searing bolt of lighting. Lastly reason two, there are woods behind my house, because of that I don't know if someone would ever be stalking or watching me. Overall I certainly just feel completely unsteady. Soon, everyone makes there way into the kitchen piling in around the table. Getting ready for the first meal of the day.
