(Scarlets POV)

I herd a loud ringing in my ear. At first I was confused not sure why it was there. I sleepily turned my head to noticed it was my phone alarm going off. I grabbed it turning it off. I finally remembered why I set it. Today was my first day in high school. I had been home schooled for a long time instead of going to school. I went to school from kinder garden to sixth grade. I have been home schooled ever since. My brother Josh however has been going to school. He already has been going to high school for about two years now. I was honestly scared it had been a long time since actually going to school and I knew what people would think of me. Well lets just say I hit the emo stage pretty hard, well i wouldn't call it a 'stage' I guess its just who I am. Of course my parents didn't approve of it. Hell we weren't even aloud to listen to green day. But I downloaded all my music on my phone so they didn't know. I bought all my clothes with my own money since my parents refused to buy me that type of clothing.

I got out of bed stretching. I didn't really have a routine to get ready so I just decided to get dressed. I finished and looked in the mirror www.polyvore.com/read_box/set?id=... . It was pretty sloppy but I didn't care honestly. I grabbed my backpack that was filled with all the things Josh said I would need. I walked down the stairs and set it by the door so it was ready when we left. I herd a sigh and I turned around to see my father. " Scarlet when are you going to get over this stupid stage of how you dress and the music you like, you know we don't approve of it cant you just respect your mother and i's wishes for once" he said leaning against the wall. I then let out a sigh of my own "Dad cant you just respect my wishes and let me be who I want to be you can try to talk to me and call it a 'stage' all you want but I'm not going to change that easily" I said. He shook his head getting irritated that I was arguing. Thank god Josh ran down the stairs not allowing his to say anything else. He never was mean to me in front of my brother. I never really knew why. "Ah I see your ready fast, excited for your first day back?" Josh said grabbing some breakfast. I chuckled "Not at all, I'm terrified" I said back. "Awe don't worry you will love it." He said with an assuring smile. Josh and I have always had a close relationship. I knew that I could trust him with almost anything. A lot of people thought it was weird cause most brother and sister pairs fight a lot but we didn't.

I started scrolling through my social medias while Josh ate his food, and about ten minutes later he told me it was time to go. Ugh I didn't want to go but I knew I had too. I sighed putting my headphones and my phone in my pocket before picking up my bad. "Bye mom bye dad!" Josh shouted before walking out the door with me shortly following. Since the school wasn't too far away we had to walk. I guess it would be better than sitting in a bus filled with people. On the walk there Josh told me everything that I should do, told me where to go for all my classes, how to open my locker and so on. We finally arrived in front of the new building. "So I'm going to go find Tyler wanna come with so you can meet him?" he asked. I knew who Tyler was he came over a lot to hang out with Josh. But I stayed in my room the who time. He has never seen me so he has no clue what I look like. But I he knows I exist cause Josh told me that he said he wants to meet me a lot. "Um no not right now I don't think I'm ready to meet him yet but you should go hang out with him" I said back after thinking. "Nah its fine I wanna make sure everything goes alright with you" He said starting to walk to the front doors. But I grabbed his arm stopping him "Josh just go hang out with your friend I don't wanna stop you from hanging out with your friends" He sighed. "Ok thanks Scarlet, if you need anything just text me" he said. I nodded and he ran off to go find Tyler.

I turned facing the school, ok just take a deep breath. I did so and walked in. There was a shit ton of people in the hallways. I snaked my way through the people to where my locker was. I sighed kneeling down to open my locker. Of course with my luck I was stuck with a bottom locker. I put the stuff I didn't need in it and closed it. I stood up and turned around to be face to face with some girl. She had long curly brown hair and two other girls where standing on the side of her. "So your the new girl huh? I was hoping it would be someone you know well worth something, but I guess we are stuck with a weird emo" she said and then her and her friends giggled. She flipped her hair hitting me in the face then walked away. Gosh she was rude, I mean I knew I was going to get picked on, made fun of and bullied but not that quickly like I just got here. Ugh I decided not to think to much about it but instead I started walking to my first class.

I sorta got lost so I was almost late. I walked in the room and I saw that the only open seat was next to Tyler. I kind of started freaking out a little, so whatever I think he is cute but I didn't want him to know who I was. I sat down quietly. He shot glance at me then looked away. Ugh how could I forget he doesn't know what I look like. I sighed to myself calming down. The bell rand and the few people that were talking stopped as the teacher walked in. We listened to the announcements on the speakers in the classroom (I totally forgot what they were called). One they ended the teacher stood up from his desk. "Ok so class before we jump into our lesson I would like to announce that we have a new student, would you like to come up here and introduce yourself to everyone?" he said looking at me. Everyone looked at me. I shrunk down in my chair a little and shook my head no stating that I didn't want to. "Oh come on we wont bite ya" he said motioning for me to come up. Ugh that meant I had to. I sighed and slowly stood up walking to the front of the room. "Um...m-my name is uh S-scarlet D-dun" i said stuttering. I glanced up and saw Tyler's eyes widen hearing my last name. He smiled at me finally realizing a was Josh's sister. His smile is adorable, ugh shut up self. "See that wasn't too bad, now I expect all of you to treat Scarlet here with respect and kindness as we do to all students" He said smiling. I kept my gaze to the ground as I walked back to my seat. I kept my head down not wanting to make eye contact with anyone.

I didn't pay much attention to the lesson he was teaching. It was weird being in a classroom after so long. I guess I would just have to get used to it. Once the bell rang signaling the end of class. I grabbed my stuff not wanted to have to talk to anyone. But one I stepped out of the room I was cut off by the the same brown haired girl from earlier. "M-m-my name is S-s-scarlet D-dun" she said mocking me from class. Her friends and her laughed and just like earlier she flipped her hair hitting me in the face and walked away. I could help that I had extreme anxiety yet I was put down as if I caused it. I felt a tap on my shoulder and I turned around to see the one person I was most scared to talk to...Tyler Joseph.

(Tyler's POV)

I sat at my desk for my first class nothing out of the ordinary. Then a girl sat don next to me I had never seen her before around school, she must be new. I didn't get too see her for too long cause she kept her head down. But honestly she was extremely beautiful from what I saw. She looked unique, her style was different from every other girl in the school. The teacher wanted her to introduce herself I could tell that she was scared and nervous, I felt bad for her when she had to go up in front of everyone. She started stuttering and my heart broke i have never seen someone so nervous. Hmm Scarlet Dun sounded familiar. My eyes widened Scarlet Dun, Dun this must be Josh's sister. I smiled finally being able to see what she looked like. Wait that means i think that Josh's sister is beautiful, um ya lets not tell him about that.

Class ended and she left quickly i got up wanting to talk to her. I walked out and saw Kelly flip her hair hitting Scarlet in the face then walking away. I wonder what just happened. I tapped her shoulder and she seemed to get nervous when she saw it was me, she must know me. "So your the lovely sister of Josh i have herd so much about, my names Tyler" i said with a smile. She nodded indicating that she knew me. "I have been really excited to meet you sometime and i am glad i am finally able to" i said trying not to sound completely awkward. I saw a slight blush on her cheeks. "I take that as a good thing" she said with a smile. God her smile was gorgeous. Wait did i really just think that, ugh this is gonna be a rough year.
