Born of the Dark

Part 1: a birth of winter's night

In a village in the mountains, there lay a kingdom,Doves-peak, populated with the purest people, but that was about to change.
On December 27, the coldest night of Doves-peak. The queen went into labor. All children born on this night, every year, had died. But this child, was special. Queen Malika of Doves-peak was the most generous queen of all Pyrhia. Like many, she had her secrets. Queen Malika was treated like a goddess, because she was one. Malika , goddess of the Dove's blessing. Therefore, her child was destined to be the most powerful being in Pyrhia.

After, 6 hours of labor, a beautiful baby girl was born. Apon her birth her father gifted her the scythe of the blood Raven, forged by the highest priests and most trusted smiths. It was standing at 8'ft and had black rubies from Mt.Di'tau. The handle made from black steel, from the lowest level, of Satan's tomb. With these materials it was the most powerful weapon in Pyrhia. She had most beautiful eyes, a pale blue, like the sky on a rainy day. Her hair was as black as the Raven's wings ,and skin, more pure than a snowflake."She's even more beautiful than I imagined.." Malika said happily. " I know my love, she will be a great ruler one day.."
She admitted a powerful light, which quickly turned black. Then disappeared. This was sign of danger, death, power, even loneliness. Nobody questioned it.

They took care of Salem, and she was so deeply loved and nurtured. As she grew she became more powerful. By the age of one she by accidentally killed her pet cat Cara , and some how revived it. She was blessed with both dark and light magic. The blessing of raven's light. This was only a blessing given to the people only with the highest power, or those worth saving. The gods were always right with there blessing. Never a single wrong choice, or at-least we think.....
