So. . . This is the first one. Some of you out there will get it. Sorry it's not very good. . .

She stares at the walls, a pinkish orange

Casted shadows by still figures, darkness adorned

And her mind wonders, cloaked by inevitable fear

For the time of nightmares in mere hours, horrifyingly near

The anxiety takes over

Riling her nerves

To much moreover

To much for her

To take at once

As her eyes slip closed

With images of disaster

Horror from head to toe

But this was her bed time

It was time to sleep

But her dreams are of which near rhymes

And in the morning she'll still be weak

In the morning

She'll jump from bed

Glad to have the images

Out of her head

But there to remind her

Are the bags under her eyes

And she with a sigh so mournful

She use make up as a disguise

And this cycle will repeat

It will go on and on

Every time she goes to bed

The nightmares shall descend upon

She can't escape it

The battle can't be won

And soon she shall learn

That she and the monsters are one.
