Castiel sighs and shifts his heavy eyes to look at you, he always looked so conflicted. His eyes, as deep as an ocean, as blue as one too. You walked up to him, placing your hand on his. You leaned back to look into his eyes, seeing the cold and cautious eyes turn soft.

"what if you don't like who I am?"
Cas muttered as your eyes were locked.

"I already like you Cas, anything else is just extra." You smile softly.

"Y/N, I know you want me to open up, but I don't understand why, why do you want me to open up?"

You place your hand on his face and gently stroke his cheek.

"I want to know what you feel because- well, let me just show you."

You lean forward and bring your lips to his, kissing him softly, savouring the taste you feel him kiss you back as his hands become placed around your back. The moment was quick but felt like an eternity. You felt so filled with love and you embraced him, he held you protectively, you both stayed in that moment for what felt like hours, you could've stayed there for an eternity, you knew that when you died, if you went to heaven this is what yours would look like, in Castiels arms for an eternity.
