I groaned as I slumped in my seat. " Calm down, man. It's just for 1 month" my best friend, Damian said in his mysterious, and soothing accent.
" One. Whole. Month" I moaned.
" Quit wining, you baby" Dina a Blondie who always wore ponytails called from the seat next to ours. I glared at her. Why couldn't I just relax at home, like my other friends, Todd, and Mikey? My parents wanted me to be 'active'. We were riding in a rusty school bus, with a fat driver, with yellow teeth and stringy hair. Our parents had sent us to Camp Fear. I've never heard of it. I begged them to send me to Camp Dakota, but they said it's too populated. Damian's glasses glinted in the dim sunlight.
" I'm so looking forward to this!" He said, trying to lighten me up.
" Not helping" I informed. Damian sighed and turned away. The only kids I knew in the bus were Dina and Damian. The rest of them looked like they knew each other really well. When we got on the bus, Damian tried talking to a kid, but he only stared at him like he just pooed his pants.
" It's so hot in here! My hair will get oily if it's too hot!" Dina complained. Dina had to sit next to this girl, because only two people could sit together on the leather seats which were peeling off. The girl who was sitting next to her, the red head with a serious case of dandruff, eyed her, as she kept complaining.
" Almost eer!" The bus driver bellowed. Well at least I can take a shower and eat when I get there, I'm starving. I thought. Damian was solving a Sudoku when I turned around.
" This is fun! Wanna try?" He asked as he saw me staring at him. I shook my head and checked my bag, in case I brought some Oreos.  Dina was slowly starting a conversation with the girl. Apparently, her name was 'Lint'. I held back a snicker as she showed Dina her pocket lint collection.
" Hehe... That's... Cool" Dina chuckled as she gave me a that-is- NOT-cool look.
" These people are... Weird" I whispered to Damian. Damian rolled his dark eyes and continued his Sudoku. After what seemed like years, we finally arrived.
" We're here! Listen up ye brats! As I call your name, grab yer bags and leave!" The bus driver yelled as the bus jolted to a stop.
" This is it" I sighed.
