As I was walking down the stairs to the ball room my parents saw me on the last step and just smiled I looked at them and join them to begin the masquerade ball. When I entered all I saw was older people and my parents business workers I swear they don't ever smile, but as I was saying my parents decide to throw their annual party like they do every year when fall starts. It's always boring all they do is talk have some wine and do this big dance were you don't know who your getting paired with that's why I always leave and go to see my boys because I don't fit in with them a it's hard to be something your not but this year my mom got mad at me and told me to stay the whole event which I got really mad but I had to suck it up and do it for my family. As I was walking just around the halls I accidentally bumped into someone it's was a teen like me but he look a little older I really couldn't see his face because it was covered with a mask so I just apologize to him as I said that he just looked at me and smile and said "No worries" and left letting go of my hand I just looked confused but I just turn around and just started look at the paintings. The big dancing scene was about to start and I didn't know who I was going to get paired i was a little nervous until I felt someone tap on my shoulder I turn around and I saw the guy I was going to dance with was the same guy I bumped into earlier as he bowed I did the same then that's when the song started. As we were dancing he seemed to know all the dance steps we were moving perfectly then when the part to pick me he picked me up so slowly and gentle then when he put me down we just started into each other's eye then he said to me "Why do you try so hard to fit in when you were born to stand out" I looked at him in a confused way then he slowly just leaned in and kissed my cheek so gentle and said "I'll see you again I promise" as he said that he let go of my hand slowly then left. I was left in the middle of the ball room alone were people are still dancing then I tried to see if I could catch up to him but I couldn't find him so I when back inside and my parents decide to play another song before the ball ended. As I was standing there I saw this guy come up to me and ask if I wanted to dance then he removed his mask and I found out it's was my friend Shawn I took his hand and we started dancing till midnight.
