Prologue

     Crowd... Screaming. Girls... Get wilder. Bodyguards... Become tighter. Music... Goes louder. Dancers... Dance. Sound system... Checked. Lights... Shine bright.

"WE LOVE YOU RUSELL! WOOO!!"

"The show is about to start in less than 5 minutes."

"Rusell... Anak?"

My mother's voice appeared in my room where my artists are doing their last retouch on me for my concert tonight.

"Mom. Hey." I kissed her on her right cheek.

"Are you ready anak? You need to make them really happy. Lalo na't sold out ang concert mo!"

I just sighed.

"Why my son? Don't tell me you're nervous? For the past years ay laging sold out ang concert mo."

"I know Mom."

"Aren't you happy my son?"

"I am... happy Mom."

"Great! Now let them see you! Good luck and I love you." And she winked.

"Thanks. I love you too." She stepped out and closed the door. Sumunod na rin ang mga artists ko and said a good luck para sa akin.

It was not hard to step on stage. I am not nervous! It's just that... Never mind what I always feel. The audience out there waited, paid, gave effort, gave their best just to attend my concert and see me. So I think I must step out. They waited a very long time for this.

Stage... Is on set.

Here I go...

And I... I am on fire!

"WAHHHHH! OH MY GOODNESS!"

"Happy ka na niyan Jenny?"

"Grabe ang guwapo niya! Salamat talaga Bes at binayaran mo lang yung cable para mag-live yung concert niya here sa tv niyo!"

"Hayyy! Siyempre, ikaw pa ba Bes?" Sinabi naman ni Andrea habang kumakain kami ng chichiryang binili niya.

"Grabe! Ang mahal naman kasi ng ticket, eh, alam mo namang hindi namin kaya ang ganoon kamahal, siyempre dapat ay unahin muna ang mga kailangan talaga. Saka pagagalitan ako ni Papa at mama kung titipirin ko baon ko para lang sa concert na ito."

"Kaya nga, tama naman ang papa at mama mo. Kaya nga heto ako Jenny oh! Hay nako, huwag mo na problemahin iyan! Enjoyin na natin ang gabi na ito!" Pagtatapos ni Andrea dahil kaunti na lang ay malulungkot na ako ng tuluyan.

"Hayaan na natin silaaaa! Oh baby! Tayong dalawa ang magkasamaaaa! Pagmamahalan ay walang katapusaaaan! OH OH YEA YEA!" Sabay kaming kumanta habang nag-peperform na siya sa stage.

Hayyy nako naman Mr Rusell Cortez! You're too good to be true naman kasi! Halos lahat ng babae ay ikaw ang pinapangarap, at isa na ako roon! Lahat na ginagawa ko para someday makita na kita in person, eh hindi ko naman kasi afford mga concerts mo. Ngunit hayaan mo, alam kong destined tayo sa isa't isa kahit sa panaginip lang! Lagi nga tayo magkasama eh, ang saya-saya natin! Kumakain pa tayo sa mga restaurant kahit ayaw ko kasi mahal, pero kapag pauwi ay tumatambay pa tayo sa may bilihan ng pugo tapos sabay tayo kakain! Grabe, parang sobrang totoo lang ng panaginip ko! Sana totoo nga...
