----------------------------------

World disappoints. people are disappointed,
They say, you're good,
Some say you're the best.
You know who you are and how you are,
And you know what they mean underneath all the flattering.

They show, to heal you,
But if you hear intently,
Your wounds revive.

Friends or foes,
Relatives or strangers,
No one knows you,
Or what it is like to be you.
They may console you,
They may not,
They do not.

Okay this poetry may not make sense, I'll explain.

This poem is about how the world, in some way or the other is self-conceited, how people console you when you regret doing something wrong but beneath all the flattering, you will find the bitter taste of words. The wounds we talk about here are emotional, and not physical, wounds which only time can heal. You know, who, how and what you are, no one else..

So, today's quote is:

"Believe in your stars, but also believe that you are capable of changing The Fault In Your Stars"

Yes, I just (I changed it a bit though) quoted The Fault In Our Stars BECAUSE I'm dying to read TFIOS, but my exams are still on. They'll be over by Tuesday and you know what? My birthday is coming. I'm sooooo excited... dont forget to wish me on 2nd October.
