Going to Mexico

Today I'm finally going to Mexico that I've been waiting all year to go to. We had to wake up really early to get to our flight on time and I absolutely HATE mornings.
"Mom, are we almost there"
" Almost, we have about a half an hour and be quiet you might wake up your brother" she said
" okay, sorry "
A half an hour later we finally made it to the airport.
"I'm really tired" Nathan said ( Nathan is my brother btw)
" you can sleep when we get on our plane." Mom said
Me, my brother, and my mom went in line to check in and go through the metal detector thing. Once we made it through all the stuff. We finally heard our plane name and went into the plane line.
"Finally, it's been way to long" I said
"Oh come on it was only 2 hours in a car and about 30 minutes siting and waiting." Mom said
I just gave her a look. We entered the plane and sat in our seats, then when the plane instructor was finished saying all the safety things and what not to do. Then when the plane started flying I plugged in my earbuds and listened to some music then watched some Dan and Phil on YouTube. I kept doing that till the plane landed.
Hours later the plane instructor said our stop and so when the plane came to a stop we got to grab our luggage and exited the plane we then went in line and did the metal detector thing, then we exited the airport and got an uber to drive us to our hotel.
" We made it oh my gosh finally." I say
"Haha yeah it's nice." mom says
We went into the hotel and my mom was signing us in and everything. Once she was finished I asked
" what room number are we in" I say
" um, 602" my mom says
Then me and my brother start racing to our room
" last one has to lick the floor" I say
" oh your on" my brother said
We finally made it to the room and we seen that my mom was already standing there with a smirk on her face.
" what, how, when" I said
" I used the elevator" she said
We got into the room and put our luggage in the dressers then went to sleep
...
Sorry, I know it's not that good, but I promise it will definitely get better.
