As a writer, I know how hard it is to be hit with the writers block rock. Unfortunately, I am occasionally hit with this rock every few weeks. First thing most people don't think of doing is to STOP WRITING. Put that writing utensil down or get those fingers off the keyboard and go eat some food or bother those friends you haven't talked to in days because you were too busy in the "writing zone". When you stop writing, you should always take a day or two of rest. If you are like me you may put it off for too long and before you know it, it's a year later and you realize you still haven't finished that book.

If you believe, or you know, this will not help you in any way, below are some things you can do if you are just really bored.

Otherwise, spend the rest of your writing-free day doing things other than thinking about your book like napping, napping is nice. Here are some things you can do (without giving away my other writers block tips):

1. Hang out with friends

2. Watch a new show (I recommend Hulu over Netflix.)

3. Read a flipping book or something. You are probably in the middle of a readers block too (something I made up of those months where you literally just can't read a book. The way to break this: READ A BOOK)

4. Eat food because food is better than any relationship you will ever have. Also finding new recipes to make takes up a TON of time (at least for me) because you literally have no idea what you are doing so it takes you four hours to make some special pancakes when it would normally take like 30 minutes for a normal person.

5. Go shopping (or window shopping if you are cheap like me). Shopping can be fun and depressing at the same time.

6. Take a glorious nap, because napping is good for the soul. (So is pizza, but napping is number one)

7. Go on an adventure! The internet is useful for things other than Wattpad, You Tube, and other social media (who would've thought) so go look up some cool things you can do around your area.

The next day, awake from your slumber and eat a nice breakfast and get back to your book. If this worked, congrats! You can finally write your book in full happiness and peace. If you still can't think of what to write next, that sucks, you should visit the next page.
