My mom gently knocked on my door.
"Come in"
She walked in. She was wearing a red shirt that went down to her knees and a beautiful white frilly shirt, with her hair tied up in a nice bun with a red ribbon.
"Today's the day!"
She gave me a soft smile. I smiled back and nodded
"You okay?"
"Yeah, I'm ready"
She nodded and left the room
Today was my first day back after being off for a month because I was traumatised by watching my friend get raped and murdered.
I just stood and watched. I was to scared to do anything. It's all my fault she's dead, and the man is still out there, somewhere. I told everyone he tied me up and that I was unable to do anything. Just to save myself from the guilt and embarrassment.
But it still found a way to get to me.
