Summer has just ended. Meaning, school is coming up for me. But, I just don't care, I'd rather go to clubs than come to school to listen about shitty things, but eventually life just can't give everything you want. Relatives who want fame and people who finds my mistakes to share and destroy our family's image. In the other hand, my parents are there to expect a great performance from me. And just so you know, they don't really care about me though they pretend to when cameras are all around them. They'd rather stay at the office all night than staying with me at home. It's good to say that my nanny, Precilda was always there she was like my "mama", she was there to cook,feed,play, and do stuffs for me my mom couldn't do. She was my FAMILY.

As the summer ends, I decided to host a party in which everyone is invited! I called Josh my best friend to inform and gather up people in our house since mom and dad won't be home in 6 months, giving me only one thing, control.

"I'm counting on you man. I hope everyone comes to see the show. Don't forget to tell them that." I say as we hung up a smirk plastered on my face. I'm sure everyone will love the surprise we're going to do tonight.

After our call I started calling and posting posters and banners of our upcoming party tonight. Upon reaching the canteen, I pulled out a chair and stood in front of it shouting, "EVERYONE! Listen up, I would like to invite all of you tonight in my place to end the summer break! I expect to see everyone. I will assure you that you will enjoy because there will be a great show were doing and I am sure as hell you wouldn't want to miss it." I say as I go down the chair someone bumps me, "Oh.. It's you sugar!" I definitely know who is this I say in my mind.
"Hey there Rebecca!"
"So,your hosting a party huh?" She says while batting her eyelashes and start talking seductively.
"Yes. And YOU are one of the main characters. So i will be glad to know if you are coming?" I reply as I emphasise the word YOU to her. "Ohh.. You just can't get enough of me, don't you?" She says biting her lip. " Come on Rebecca, just answer the question already." I say with irritated voice. She really thinks it'll do her good. She just have to wait and see. "Fine. I'll be there. What time?" She says as I answer her "Great! It starts at nine." "Alright." And with that she leaves and i smirk thinking she was one of the main characters.

We stayed at the entrance handing everyone a poster and to tell them to share the news. As I check my phone for the time, it read 2:30 and I started getting exhausted so I decided to go get some fresh air.

I open the doors leading to the balcony and start smelling the fresh air as memories flash.

Flashback

"Mom! Mom! Please, don't leave me! " i kept shouting while holding onto my moms pants.
"Honey,mommy will be back alright? Just remember mommy loves you no matter what but for now, you get to stay here okay? You are way safer here. They won't hurt you knowing you're here. Okay? Someday honey, someday, you'll understand mommy." She tells me as more tears kept rolling down her face. I hate to see my mama cry. " Mommy NO!! You can't leave me. This place is scary. I'll go with you. I'll behave and follow everything you say just don't leave me!" As more tears kept coming out from my eyes.
" This will be best for you. You always have been good. I am so proud for you but It's time you meet your parents." And with that she left. She left me without a good damn reason. She just left. That was that.

I kept thinking of the memory that I didn't see tears were rolling down my face. That moment. That moment was when everything started. I wasn't able to understand before but just like what she said but  I slowly understood it everything when I entered my third year in high school I understood why she brought me there. HERE! But the reason she had was never acceptable all of this could've been prevented because there were a lot of ways to solve whatever her problem was. I was mad. I was mad at her for leaving me!

My thoughts were interrupted by a loud bang on the first floor and I immediately ran down to check on it. As i locate where the sound came from, people started to whisper and murmur to each other just to see a group of guys who were banging the locker of the girl in which was now on the floor her head hanging down because of embarrassment. The guys kept laughing at her and I heard one say "You are beautiful darling. Why won't you just cooperate and come with us huh? Our boss is waiting for you and he doesn't have a long patience."
"Who the hell are you? I don't know who you are talking about. Please just leave me alone!" She said with anger in her voice but I also sense fear. "Well seems like you want it the hard way. Drag her." I was irritated with the show they were giving. So I butted in. "Stop this nonsense! She said leave, SO LEAVE!!!" I shouted and when they turn and see me, they see me the crowd spread out as well as the guys I was talking to. I now look at the girl who was picking up her things and finally I see her face as she looks up to me and mouth a slight "Thank you" and I just gave her a nod and realised she had an unfamiliar face, meaning only one thing, she is a transferee.
