Chapter 1
Ally's POV:
I'm at Sonic Boom and there was no one, not even Trish. I feel like Trish is looking for a job because I've been here for 4
hours and no sign of Trish has entered through the door. Oh wait I think I see a big puff walking, maybe it's someone entering the
deserted store. I turn my head a bit and see Trish, In a princess costume? Trish sure had a frown on her face, so I asked curiously
yet creeped out, "What's with the sparkly pink dress? You look like Cinderella exploded in front of you," I said hysterically and
laughing. But it seems like Trish took it seriously because she had a grumpy look, "Do you know how hard this job is?!" I made a
questioning look wondering why Trish still hasn't been fired, "Then why won't you quit?" "You don't understand. My bosses are so
cheery and never get angry whenever I purposely do something wrong. I always try to tell them 'I quit', but no they always ignore me,
interrupt me, or something randomly comes up. The only reason I work there is because they sell mattresses. I thought to myself that I
could be ableto sleep during part of the job. But no!!" Trish said whining like a three-year old, getting frustrated. "Look, do you want
me to talk to them or something?" I said trying to be helpful to my best friend. Trish finally smiled, but with devious eyes and said,
"Let's do this."
*At Moon's Mattress Kingdom*
"We're here!" Trish said ready to get moving. I started to examine the store and I noticed some weird things. It was deserted like Sonic
Boom. I was starting to follow Trish, but a woman with blonde locks and a gentleman with a brownish hair started welcoming us,
"Welcome to Moon's Mattress Kingdom! Oh hey Trish." I started to make weird faces and whispe to Trish, "Them," and Trish
nodded. I started to get a little creeped out over the fact that their smile was never put into a frown. When I was about to
speak I noticed a blonde guy sitting on a bed doing nothing. I looked over to Trish and saw her sleeping! I decided to go over to the
blondie and sit next to him. Trish will never find out. I smiled as he said, "Hey. I'm Austin. What's your name?" "Ally," I said feeling
perfectly comfortable.
Austin & I were chatting about ourselves and it turns out we have a lot in common. Austin's hair was at the right way, his smile
always cheered me up, and whenever I'm with him, I feel perfect. "Hey, so? What school do you go to," I asked hoping he goes to
Marino High. Austin smiled perfectly and responded with, "Um... I'm actually home schooled," he said fidgeting with his fingers. I was
surprised, I wonder why he's home schooled, but no I shouldn't bring it up. That's mean.
Austin's POV:
I don't know why, but I hate being home schooled, maybe it's because I'm alone. The only reason I'm home schooled is because my
parents don't trust me acting all cute to girls and coming back with a girlfriend. Gosh! I'm 17. I wish I could go to the same school with
Ally. This may surprise you, but Ally is the first friend I ever made. I never really got to make friends because I'm the only student of
course, but if you count my mom as a friend who is my teacher then she was my first. I had a frown on my face and I guess it was all
noticeable to Ally, because she asked, "What's wrong?" I nervously said, "Ah nothing. It's just about my dumb school, nothing about
you." I guess I shouldn't have said 'dumb' because now Ally knows something's up. Ally brought her hands to mine and it gave me
chills. Chills that I've never felt with ANYONE. "Is this about your home schooling? Is there a problem?" I smiled because it looked
like she actually cared, "I- I guess. It's just that my mom is my teacher, and I have no friends. I don't have fun. I'm just at home with
my mom doing the same thing over again," I said feeling a little bit relieved. Ally laughed a little and said, "Teacher's pet," she said
laughing. I would be mad, but I would feel the same way if it happened to her. "So, are you saying you want a new teacher? Or do you
want to go to an actual school?" Ally said looking like she had an idea. I answered unsurely, "Um. I just want a friend. That's all." I
actually wanted more than that. I want to be in the same classroom with Ally, not that I like her or anything just because I don't want
to lose my best friend.
"Maybe, I should be your teacher? Nah that's a crazy idea, your mom would never allow that," Ally said over the fact that it's obvious
that she wants to. I really liked that idea, but I really wanted her to be a student like me, "You should. I just don't know if my mom will
allow that," I said really disappointed yet a little better because I totally know that we're going to think of a plan. Ally then added, "Eh
we tried," sounding a lot lazy like my parent's employee Trish. "You're kidding right?" I said hoping she was. "Yea, of course, but we're
going to need a little help from Sleepy-Head," as she said looking at Trish, who I think is her best friend, guess I'm the third wheel.
Chapter 2
Ally's POV:
I walked quietly like a ninja to Trish to wake her up to surprise her hysterically. But I guess Austin didn't know she wasn't a water
bucket fan because he was holding a cup of iced water and I guess he was going to dump it on her. When Austin was about to spill it on
her I came in to tell him that there was a major problem but it seemed that he didn't care.
