The place I didn't feel sad
Was sadly far away
Across the seas atop the fields
Where sadness couldn't stay

The people there were happy
With contentment in their lives
Although they didn't have many things
They really did, inside.

The things that truly matter
Are the matters of the heart
And why we live; for what we fight
Is what gives us our spark.

So take me back to where I smiled
and let me sleep awhile;
the life I'm living all this time
shall fade and go, for now.
