HE LIVES

48 6 2

There HE hangs

battered and bruised.

Full of sorrow,

HIS message refused.

Nobody listened,

only few seemed to care.

About that man so badly beaten,

left hanging there.

They cursed HIM, they mocked, with evil in thier hearts.

And as HE looked down,

HIS heart torn apart,

With all the love any man could ever give,

That man died so those below might live.

The demons,

they laughed and cheered as HE slowly died,

But three days later,

they shrieked and cried!

There HE stood,

in all HIS glory and power.

The devil knowing, in that very hour.

JESUS had won,

victory was HIS, even at the cross.

the enemy knowing the battle he had lost.

The KING he reigns in everlasting power,

Sitting at the right hand of HIS father.
