Best friends for ever
Or so they thought
Filles with hidden glimpses
And troubled thoughts

A machine and a robot
All snuggled in bed
One crying
The other one feeling, rather dead

They didnt want to hurt each other
But that's what they did
Tore each other apart
Limb from limb

Inside and out
Their own feelings grew
Till the feistier one
Out of the two
Choked up the courage
To ask the question

Yes, flew through their minds
Along with romantic gestures
Kisses grew like petals on a flower
So they began a long and windy road
Tossed out to sea
No rope for them on shore

Terrified of the press they quickly separated
Only to be in each others embrace the minute they could
Always a couple
Even if they fought it
Been through hell's fire

Soon, the robot realized her her mask had fallen off
A human under a masquerade
Of false hopes and dreams

So, the robot took it all off
Trying to breathe
She felt with her machine
They could finally be free

But the machine just saw her armour still on
Covering her body
She felt so exposed
This had turned into something haughty

Blood and oil spilled between the two
No amount of bandaids could refuge everything that had been said and done

Tears fell
Yes it hurt
But, it was over
The Machine left the Robot in
A puddle of blood and oil

The bullet hit, but maybe not
So, they were back to normal
The robot moved on
Found a new mate to bant with

But, Machine's are always jealous Poor Man
Caught in between the gears
Of an abandoned Robot
And a shaky Machine

They tore him apart
And back were the two
The Robot never loved her so much
Than she did when she say her smile

Again, the armour came off
And still the Machine didnt see any come off
So, the Machine began taking off her armour as well
Till both were back as humans

Broken but fixing each other slowly
Yet the other couldnt see what the other really was
A person
Deeply in love
In beautiful, love
Only for them

Anger grew
As Jealous tempers went off
Not by the Machine
Robot, had a go

She was so scared she'd leave
She meant so much
And they never knew how much the other felt for the other

Feeling worse than ever
The Robot tried to fix the mess she made
She bought the Machine gift after gift
Surprise after surprise

Bad things wer happening to the Robot
But, she tried to keep her head up for her Machine
The Machine could barely keep herself together
She couldnt hold the Robot too

The Robot kept it all in and tried to shower the Machine in love
Tell her everything that would make her smile
Tears fell

Machine called lies on The Robot
Robot broke
And they split
Once again

The Robot sat with her tokens to her Machine
Blood and oil of her own pooling around her
She felt like she was going to drown in it

She had lost her best friend
Her Machine
Her world
Gone....

Now, they saw each other
Back on tour
Small talk
Small laughs
It killed the Robot a bit each day
But, the Machine had a new Robot

The Robot had disappeared
And The Machine didnt seem to notice that she was the one who killed her best friend....
