The lost road

It was a warm night I felt the chill of the wind through the car window my parents and I went to the beach and we watched the sun go down and I tested out my Polaroid camera my parents bought me the pictures I took was of the beach and sunset but I took one of my parents holding each other

The light sound of the radio

My parents were laughing and I smiled I stared out the window suddenly the car spun out of control I heard my mom scream for my dad

"Steven!"

It felt like my entire world crashed to a halt I tried looking up the engine was steaming my mom wasn't moving I tried looking at my dad but I couldn't see him there was sirens in the distance I saw cars stopping and people were running to us I tried to form the words help but everything went black.

Doctor " she's in critical condition she internally bleeding shit we are losing her nurse!"

I tried looking up I saw my mom on a stretcher and the flashing lights from above a doctor looked at me

"your going to be alright",
