(Delirious POV)

"Bye Johnathan!!!" Called the others as they left the school.

"Bye!" I called back as I began to walk through the playground. Today had been such a cool day, my new friends had helped me out with not just the bullies, but also with my schoolwork. They were a little odd at times, making weird jokes and goofing around non stop, but they were really funny and helpful guys. I can't wait to tell dad!

"Hey Jonathan!" I turned to see Evan running up to me. "How you holding up?"

"Good, I got a bit of homework but I can manage it." I said.

He smiled. He looked at me and sighed. "Oh man, I wish I looked as cool as you with that mask!"

I giggled as we made our way through the school gates where my dad was waiting. I ran into his arms and hugged him.

"Hey, how was your first day?" Dad asked as I squeezed him tightly.

"It was awesome!" I said as we pulled away from our hug. I didn't wanna tell him about the bullys, cause knowing him, he'd freak out and we'd have to move again.

"Well, I'd better be going. Bye!" Waved Evan as he headed across the street.

"Bye!!!" I waved back.

Dad took my hand tightly and began to lead me home. "Who was that?" He asked sternly.

"Oh, a friend I met today." I said.

"He doesn't pick on you, does he?"

"N-No! Not at all! He's really nice to me!" I blurt out. Why did he have to be so judgemental around new people?

"You know you can tell me anything, right?" Dad said locking eyes with me.

"Y-yeah ..." I mumble. Dad sighed as we finally arrived back home. He reached into his pocket and fumbled with the keys.

"Hey! Give that back you piece of shit!" I heard Tyler scream. I looked behind me and saw all my friends at the park, Lui had hold of Tyler's hat and was running while Tyler was frantically trying to get it back.

"You'll have to catch me first!" Lui laughed in his squeaky voice. He tripped on his own feet and Tyler jumped in top if him, clawing to try and get his hat back. Everyone erupted into laughter as Tyler snatched up his hat and smiled, then he too burst out laughing. I let out a small laugh and Dad snapped his head towards me.

"Stay away from those types of people Johnathan." He said as he pushed open the door and hurried me inside. I hung my bag up and took out my homework.

"I'm gonna go do my homework." I said making my way up the stairs.

"Okay, dinner will be ready in half an hour." Dad smiled.

I hurried upstairs and shut myself in my bedroom. I still was sleeping on a mattress until my bed arrived, and I still had a load of unboxing to do. I sat down my make shift bed and began my work.
