Chapter 2

The dress was too short and too tight, the heels were way too high. She was to wear big earrings and apparently needed to be decked out with makeup. Yeah this was not her.

But for her story she would be whatever she needed to be to get the story. Looking at her reflection in the mirror of Jacob's guest room she cringed. Her outfit cost thousands of dollars... She saw the price tag.

It was ridiculous to see how much money was spent of a piece of material that left little to the imagination. Still... She had to admit she looked good.

Leaving her hair down she let it fall heavily to the side of her face. She had brown hair, full and a little too thick. When she left it down it dropped down about mid back. It looked nice and shiny with a hint of auburn in it, but it was hard to maintain. So she wore it up most of the time.

Not tonight, he wanted a certain look, she would prove to him that she can do this. It was all part of the job. She recorded it all. 'Jacob has a look he likes to be associated with... A high class hooker type thing... He was reluctant to take me with him to this Rocco's place...'

Feeling a little apprehensive Shania made her way out of the room. Of course Jacob was on the phone again, he seemed like he was forever on the phone. He looked like he had been waiting for her because he moved his head to indicate to her that they were leaving... All the while on his phone.

But she got his attention, not by doing anything but by her appearance. He did a double take. Shania had to admit that Jacob looking at her the way he did made her feel extremely uneasy.

He ended the phone call eyeing her out. "Turn around?" What? She wanted to tell him that this was inappropriate but found herself turning around. "You look stunning." Okay now her face heated up. She pushed her glasses back to give her something to do.

"Thank you." She replied not looking at him. She was nervous at this attention he was giving her suddenly.

"Do you need to have your glasses on?"

"Only when I write or type."

"So take them off."

"I... Why?" She didn't like to be without her glasses, she liked to hide behind them.

"If you don't need them, take them off." Not really understanding his reason she took them off. "Better." He said before walking out.

Shania was finding it extremely hard to keep up with him, she was not used to wearing heels this high. Her black dress kept riding up and her sparkly black heels were making it difficult for her to move in.

"Jacob... Jacob..." She called out when he reached the reception desk. He looked back at her and shook his head.

"You need to keep up." He said when she finally reached him.

"I'm trying to... These heels are not helping." She said pouting. Her feet were already sore. Jacob looked at her heels and raised an eyebrow at her. Yes the shoes were sexy as hell... But like really they were going to kill her life.

Inside the limo Jacob was once again on his phone. She was becoming a little agitated by his rudeness. Why couldn't he just be polite enough to talk to her. She made a note of it also.

"What is this place?" Shania asked when they had reached their destination.

"It's a secret men's club." Oh... Well she was not expecting that at all. Shania took her phone out and snapped a shot at the building. Jacob didn't say anything.
