A/N Before anything!!! Please don't copy my work! My words are probably not that powerful, let alone stop some butthole out there from taking my work...but please! It's sucks to have something you've created stolen soooo please, don't steal my work, nor anyone else's. :)
I could feel the adrenaline flowing through my veins.
I could feel the slight ache in my arms as I threw punches, one after the other.
I could feel myself in a sturdy stance, slowly but steadily advancing forward.
I could feel the cool drops of sweat trickling down my forehead and cheek.
I could feel myself running out of breath, huffing and puffing more than I ever have before when finally...
My dad gasped. His back was pressed against the white wall of the gymnasium, with his wrist swerving my fist to the side of his face. His eyes were wide, his rich brown eyes sparked with flecks of gold. His lips parted in surprise and pride. I, myself, was fairly shocked. For the first time, I had successfully pushed him back towards a wall without him noticing for he was too busy blocking my punches.
"Good job Amelia..." He blinked once, twice and thrice.
"Great job actually!" He exclaimed louder and gave me a hard slap to the shoulder. His lips stretched into a smirk. This was the first time I'd made such progress. In the past months, I've been beaten to the floor in a single bat of the eye. 10 months later, and I'm closer to actually winning a sparring round. In all honesty, I was still lacking many skills. For one, I needed more stamina. Although, being backed up into the wall, my dad did not look like he even tried; he was not sweating nor was he puffing too hard. I, on the other hand, was puffing my lungs out. I was struggling to breath properly and I was drenched in sweat. A few minutes later I finally caught my breath.
"Thanks dad, heaps. You're honestly the strongest person I've ever known and it's great to corner you like that." I chuckled as my dad's eyes brightened with pride and admiration in a teasing manner.
"Don't get too cocky, Lia. You still got a long way to go." He winked at me whilst throwing my towel and bottle to me. In response, I stuck my tongue at him and sprayed some water onto his light brown hair. Laughing heartily, he pushed me playfully.
"C'mon. Let's go eat dinner. We've been training since noon. I heard mum's gonna make lamb chops." My dad fisted the air an jumped a little. I chuckled as we made our way to the kitchen.
In the kitchen
"Hello my puppies." My mum greeted us with her back turned out way. She was taking something out of the oven to set it on the table and indeed it was lamb chops. My father pouted and closed up the space between them. He wrapped his arms around my mother's waist and with his nose in the crook of my mother's neck, inhaled.
"I'm not a puppy," my dad mumbled "I'm an alpha, woman." My mum let out a giggle and bumped her hip against his. He began kissing her neck which was a pretty uncomfortable sight for my eyes.
"Ahem! Innocent eyes here." I raised my eyebrows at them. Werewolves, as well as humans, were too touchy feely. My mum glanced in my direction and laughed quietly whilst my dad growled a little.
"Go away then." My father replied, an exasperated tone.
"Dad!"
"That's it boys and girls, it's time for dinner. You've both worked so hard so I made some lamb chops!" My mother was a very beautiful woman. She had dark green eyes and dark brown hair. Her hair went down to her waist but was often braided. My mother had high cheek bones and had perfect teeth. She was at my height of 5'4 and was sweet and caring. Although, she was very sassy especially when arguing when anyone (specifically my dad). She aged beautifully, for a human of course.
My father on the other had was a tall and muscular person. He trained a lot and always had me come along from a young age. He had dark brown eyes but sometimes flecks of gold would flicker through them when he was excited. He has short and light brown hair that he never grooms. He stands at 6'4 and easily intimidates others although he is just a child on the inside. He is very handsome and makes a very cute couple with my mum.
Divergently of course, he's a werewolf. He's way stronger than normal, he has more heightened sense as well as being able to turn into a large wolf and lives a lot longer than humans. My mum is his mate and soulmate. Why we were not apart of a pack is a secret that was left behind when my father fled from his family.
Now I, I was a half breed. I was neither a human nor werewolf yet I was still both. I had heightened senses and strength yet I couldn't turn into a wolf or typically have a wolf entity in me as did most other wolf have, according to my father. I was perfectly fine with that though. I was perfectly fine with my family and the way we were living.
Perfectly fine.
Of course, everything had to take a turn.
