I'm about to take a look at the books I bought for school, when I see Ginny walking towards me. I quickly check my hair in the reflection of the window before I say "hey Ginny. How was dinner with Slughorn?"
She sighs. "It was horrible. Slughorn only invited me because I cursed someone. He totally deserved it by the way, he annoyed the crap out of me." She grins. "Harry is so stupid. He followed Draco because he wanted to hear what he said to his Slytherin friends. Of course he used his invisibility cloak, but I'm still slightly worried about him. If Draco sees him, he'll be dead before school even starts."
I grin too. I'm not really paying attention to what she's saying. All I can see is her eyes, so bright. It looks like there are a million stars swimming in her deep blue eyes. Strange, I've never noticed it before. How could I possibly have not seen the beauty of those eyes for four years?
"...so if you don't mind, I'm going looking for Neville and Luna. See you at Hogwarts, I guess."
"Oh -" I say. I didn't hear a word of what she said, the only thing I noticed was that she was about to leave. "Ehm, yeah, see you soon."

The train starts moving slower and I pick up my stuff to get out of the train. I wonder where Harry is. Is he still trying to hear want Malfoy says to his Slytherin friends? I don't really care. I'm looking around to see if I can find Ginny, but I don't see her anywhere. I sigh and walk after Ron to the platform.

We're at the great hall, waiting for the food to appear, when Harry finally walks in. There's blood all over his face. "He's covered in blood," says Ginny. "Why is he always covered in blood?"
I'm sitting across Ginny, which means I can see her all the time. I catch myself staring more then once and I hate myself for it. I mean, we're just friends. Friends don't look at each other like that, so I have to stop acting so weird.
