"W-What?" I stuttered my voice shaking as he stared at me. His eyes scanning me. "Your eyes show it. Your posture is showing. Your sad, lost, and you're feeling negative energy." He spoke wisely. I took in a big breath and stared at him feeling my heart drop  down to the ground. "Y-your wrong." I denied walking out of the track. I felt a hand on my shoulder and turned around to see his face right in front of me. "If I was wrong you wouldn't have denied it." He spoke softly his face connected with mine. I hesitated feeling his gaze look down at me. "If you were right I would have admitted." I said looking down and turning around. But. again. he grabbed my arm spun me around to be face to face again. "Don't lie to me. Annie. Your tone of voice shows me all I need to know." He whispered. "Leave me alone!" I screamed struggling under his grip. I closed my eyes and screamed loudly. But. When I opened them he was gone. Everybody stared at me as if I was crazy. "Weirdo." Jeff said throwing a piece of paper at my hair. "Didn't anybody see him? He was right here!  I couldn't be the only one who saw him!" I shouted pointing at the exact spot he stood. "You've literally lost it Annie." Kelly laughed along with her friends as they walked past me. "I'm not crazy...I saw him." I whispered looking around. This can't be. I am not imagining things. I'm not crazy.

I held a great distance between Annie and her classmates. Nobody can know I know her. Difficult yes. But sufficient. I dreamed about her for a reason. And that reason is to save her from herself. A beautiful girl like her shouldn't suffer. She should be happy like everybody else. She deserves happiness.

Apparently screaming in the middle of study hall gives you a pass to go see the guidance counselor. "I need to go I can't be he-oh my god." I spoke softly as I looked up at rhe door of Mr. Farol (my guidance counselor) and saw him. I stared at him. I got up close to his face, and touched his hand. "Y-your real." I stuttered intertwining his fingers with mine. "Yes Annie I am. I'm here to help you." he spoke tightening his grip on my small hand. "From what?" I asked looking up at him with a tear falling down. "Yourself." he said staring at me in my eyes. "M-myself? I don't need saving. I don't need anything." I said looking at him with disbelief.

"Annie please."

"No. Dont start. Get away from me."

"Annie. You need help!"

"I don't need anything from anybody."

"Annie!"

I dropped his hand from mine and picked up my backpack and ran off. Saving me? Ha! Please..As if anybody can do that.

Can they?
