-Jewl's POV-

I grabbed Brendan almost causing him to drop the ball. I yanked him aside and dragged him up the steps. "Hey! Don't be a sore loser. Just-"

"Shut up," I told him before pulling him by the gates. There weren't nearly as many people. "Tell me and don't lie. Do you have powers?" I asked. I didn't want to admit it, but in a selfish way, I wanted him to call me crazy.

"What?Um...why do you have...powers?" he asked.

Dammit, he fucking does! I thought. I nodded.

"That is so cool, I'm not the-" I slapped my hand over his mouth.

"Shut the fuck up," I hissed.

"Should we tell the others?" he asked.

"Why the hell would we tell them?" I asked.

"I just feel like we need to," he shrugged. I felt the same way, but I thought I was being crazy. I really didn't want to be called crazy again. He hurried off and I chased after him. He was practically running and I just speed walked past everyone wearing Tigers merchandise.  I saw him hurry down to them and instinctively started walking out.

No, nope, nopedy, nope! I hurriedly thought as I was about to leave someone grabbed my arm. "Get off-"

"Jewl, um there's something strange going on..." I heard Brendan say and turned. He was with Miral and Sam and they all seemed to be...glowing. I grabbed them and sprinted out. I ran with them on my arm until we came to a car park and ducked in. All of us were glowing and if that wasn't weird enough time seemed to stop.

Miral was looked at her hands and trying to make shadow puppets. Emphasis on trying. "What are your powers?" Brendan asked. Sam looked like he was about to explode and Miral's eyes fluttered. There was a strong pain in the middle of my chest and for the first time in a long while, I knew I couldn't keep my powers at bay. I tried, though. Brendan was slowly lifting off the ground and I could see him struggling with his powers. As if at once we all snapped.

It was strange red, blue, gold, and green mixed together to make one giant orb. Then they all fell to their knees me being already being on my knees. The orb was still glowing. It swirled together and then an image appeared. Four people were in a cell. They looked completely normal besides, one was blue, one was red, one was green, and the last one was a golden color. Though the colors all seemed drained and faded.  "We don't have that much time. Here's the deal. We need you to save us. In Paris, there's a portal you can open under the Eiffel tower that should lead you to us so you can release us," the green one spoke. Sam, Miral, Brendan and I were just staring dumbfounded at the picture.

"If you don't the whole world will be destroyed by natural disasters. Also, your timeline is by the time you turn twenty-one. Sorry, we couldn't contact you sooner. The fates work in mysterious-" the gold started kindly.

"Shut up, we need to tell you-" the image cut out and the orb disintegrated. Brendan was the first to recover.

"Who's up for an adventure?" he asked. I looked around and closed my mouth.

"No, this is insane. I need to see my parents. The world's not going to be destroyed because of us," I shook my head and walked off.

-Sam's POV-

I don't know what just happened, but I was certainly up for an adventure. "Hell yeah! Let's go!" Miral screamed and danced in a circle as if she was five.

"This is going to be awesome," Brendan nodded.

"Besides, one of the people we need is walking off," I said and hurried out of the car park chasing after Jewl.

"I need to see my parents. This never happened," I said shaking my head. I grabbed her shoulder and turned her so she was facing me.

"I know this is insane, but think about it. We all have powers, and that's crazy," I pointed out. She seemed like she wanted to argue, but couldn't of anything to say. Brendan and Miral came up behind.

"Plus we need all of us," Miral pointed out. Jewl swung her head back and closed her eyes before putting up her first finger and turning around. Miral started to chase after her as she walked. She pulled out her phone and clicked something before shoving it to her ear.

As she saw Miral she shooed her away with her hand. "Yeah mom, something came up. I'm sorry I won't be able to come home for a while now," she said and took a deep breath. I didn't hear what heard from the other end of the phone. "Yeah, love you too. Bye," she said and hung up.

"Does that mean you're coming with us?" Brendan asked. We started to walk closer to her.

"Where are we going, again?"

"Paris!" Miral and Brendan both sang out. Oh, yeah, this will be.....interesting.
