I woke up breathing hard. I rubbed the sleep away from my eyes. At least I haven't been screaming lately.  I guess becoming a vegetarian helped. I got out of bed and got out a pair of black skinny jeans, a white tank top, a red and black plaid long sleeved shirt and an underwear and bra. I walked to the bathroom and dumped my clothes down. I fiddled with the shower until I got it working. I showered with a lemon and mandarin shampoo and conditioner. I finished with a vanilla and honey body wash. I dried my long black hair with a blow dryer and pulled a brush through it. Then I pulled on my clothes. I put my hair up in a braid and walked out of the bathroom. I ate a quick bagel and grabbed some money for grocery shopping. I walked down the side walk into the more store areas. I found a food store and began getting food. I avoided the meat section as best I could. I bought two loaves of bread, butter, milk, eggs, vegetables, fruit, pasta and marshmallows. I paid for everything and began heaving the heavy bags home. Only for me to bump into a kid with a grey hoodie. "Ouch, sorry," I said quietly. "Watch it," he snapped. His voice sounded gruff. Maybe he had a cold, it explained his mood. I shrugged it off and began walking home. I put everything in the kitchen and began putting them away. "What should I have for lunch," I murmured to my self. I decided on tomato soup and garlic bread. I buttered a few slices of bread and sprinkled powdered garlic from our old house. I placed them on a baking sheet and popped them into the oven on low heat. I got a small pot and added water, tomato paste, diced tomato's, diced onions, diced mushrooms and a few spices. To thicken it I added a mix of corn starch and cold water. As soon as the soup came to a boil. I checked my garlic bread. Golden, check! Crispy, check! Smells amazing, check! I took them out and placed them on a plate. I ladled some soup in a bowl. I sat down on the table and began to eat. So good. I make a mean garlic bread. After I finished. I put a lid on the soup and put the rest of the bread in a container for mom when she gets home after work. I did the dishes and just as I finished putting them away mom burst into the kitchen. "Guess what Gummy bear!" She grinned. I cringed at the nickname. Before I could ask 'what' she cut me off by placing a cardboard box on the table. "Its from the school here," she handed me a letter. I opened it carefully and took out the letter.
"Dear Ginavere Flyme, we are happy to inform you that you have been in rolled to the Night School Program. Your tuition has already been prepaid by a Dimitri Flyme. Your gym uniform and assigned textbooks are in the box. Please do not inform or share anything about the Night School program to anyone outside the program. If you have any concerns about allergies, cafeteria food or health and mental issues please mail them to the Night School Director. We are exited to have you for ninth grade," I read out.
Mom squealed and hugged me tight. "To think that my daughter is going to a rich kids program that happens at night and has permission to go out at night," I hugged her back and then grabbed the box. "First day starts in two days so hopefully you can get used to a new sleeping schedule," she said opening my soup pot. "Eat the soup if you want, there is also garlic bread in the fridge. I need to pack a bag for school," I smiled at her as she began heating up the soup. I frowned at the box as I walked upstairs. Why would dad pay for my tuition if he didn't know for sure I was coming?
