"This will be exiting!" My mom squealed as we entered the small town of Skykeys. "Right," I sighed. I wasn't really paying attention to whatever was coming out of her mouth. She was acting a little to perky for it to be real. "Hey its going to be alright," She smiled at me softly. I smiled back. The town looked okay. It had a bit of a big city theme to it. "Apartment or house?" I asked her. "House! I found one we could afford and I am so proud of myself," she winked. I laughed at her. We drove through the streets and people started looking at us. I shrunk down slightly. I guess they aren't used to strangers. We finally arrived at a small house next to a few slightly larger ones. It actually looked nice. It had a black paneled roof, a chipped porch, a few windows complete with curtains and shutters, the wall colors had a black and white theme to it but the door was dark red. The front yard had a few patches of dead grass and the garden was empty. "Nice catch mom," I whistled as I lugged my bags inside. "You get first dibs on bedrooms!" She called as I walked inside. I took of my sneakers and rolled my suitcases inside. I quickly spotted the stairs and began pulling my stuff up them. Finally I reached the top sweating like crazy. I looked around for a good sized room. I took the first one in the hall right across to the bathroom. The walls were painted a light sky blue. I also had a fairly large window with black curtains. The floor had glazed maple wood flooring. I dropped my stuff inside and went outside to get my other things that we trailed behind in a trailer.

We finished getting everything inside by the evening. "I'm exhausted, I'm going to head to bed," I started heading upstairs when my mom grabbed my shoulder. "Hold up I need to tell you this towns rules so I don't have to pick you up from the police station," she chuckled taking out a piece of paper. "They actually have a set of rules?" I asked shocked. "I guess so. Listen carefully.

Signed the mayor of Skykeys," mom finished. "That's a lot to take in," I sighed. They even have a curfew. "We can keep this on the fridge so we can remember them. Because I found a good paying job here I would rather not lose," she grinned. "Also could you go food shopping tomorrow?" She asked. I nodded and went to my new room to sleep. I lay on my bed for a while. I stared at the ceiling. I tried to get the image of flames out of my head as I closed my eyes. But nightmares never seemed to want to show me what I wanted them to show me. That can be so frustrating sometimes.
