Aria's POV

"Hey Aria" Spencer walked up behind me making me jump.

"Woah, sorry, didn't mean to scare you." She said with that gorgeous smile of hers.

"I-its okay." I stuttered. Why did I just stutter? Why is my heart beating so fast?

I don't know why I still ask myself these questions. It happens every time I get near her or when I'm alone with her. I get so nervous and it's hard to control.

"So...we have that English test coming up you want to come over and s-study with me?" Spencer said it might be all in my head but she sounded nervous to ask me.

"Uh...sure are the other girls gonna come?"

"Well I thought maybe---"

"Hey girls" Alison walked up to us. Interrupting Spencer. Ugh could she have chosen worse timing.

Alison I guess you can say is the leader of our group. It's me, Spencer, Hanna, and Emily. We met at the beginning of 8th grade and it's all because of Alison, she is the one that brought us together. I honestly don't know how we are friends with her, she is a bitch to everyone she meets. But she makes you feel loved at times.

"Hi Alison" Spencer said with annoyance in her voice.

Spencer's POV

Alison has terrible timing. Right when I finally worked up the courage to ask Aria over, she comes and messes everything up.

"Um...Aria can I talk to you over here?" I pointed toward the cafeteria.

"S-sure." She stuttered. She's been doing that ever since we met. I have started to pay attention to it and it seems like she only does it when she's around me...I wonder why.

Aria's POV

When I was about to follow Spencer, Alison grabbed my arm.

"Don't tell her or...well..you know what will happen." She whispered in my ear before letting me go and walking away.

I watched her for a moment, thinking about all the times Alison has threatened me about this. I don't know what's so bad about telling Spencer I like her.

You don't like her you love her.

Okay fine I'm in love with her, but I can never tell her because of Alison. I don't know how long I can go with these feelings concealed inside of me. She gorgeous, but then again I probably shouldn't tell her she does have a boyfriend.

"Aria, c'mon" Spencer called, snapping me out of my thoughts

I followed behind her in the direction of the cafeteria. She's wearing a plaid skirt, a blue blazer and a tie, typical Spencer school attire.

We stopped by one of the doors to the cafeteria.

"So...what's up?"

"Well as I was saying before Alison rudely interrupted... I was wondering if you wanted to come over and study just me and you."

Oh my gosh. Why me? Why only us? This is crazy.

"If you don't want to that's fine." Se said quickly. Oops I guess I was thinking for too long.

"No, no sorry, I would love to." I surprised myself I didn't stutter. Improvement.

"Great." She said with a smile and walked away to go to her next class.

Class went by slow. All I could think about is gong to Spence's after school. I kept glancing at the clock.

3:50. Yes! Ten minutes left.

The bell finally rang and I walked to my locker and found Spencer there waiting for me.

"Hey Spence."

"Hey, you ready?" She smiled. Wow she has the most gorgeous smile.

"Yea let's go"

We walked outside and into the parking lot. Since we both too our cars, I decided to follow her.

"Oh, hello Aria. Spencer didn't tell me she was going to have company." Mrs. Hastings greeted when we ealing in the door.

"Sorry I forgot. We're just going to be upstairs studying."

"Okay well your father and I are going to be in London for a few weeks. So you're going to be home alone."

"Okay no problem." Spencer said and with that we ran upstairs.
