------Katana POV------
When I read the note I was shocked. Sasuke, ever liking,ME?!?!?!? Hahahaha. Nice joke. But this is his handwritting. Hey, I don't stalk him he just was assigned next to me, is all. Anywho, I have a feeling it is just a joke. I screamed and stiffled a laugh. In the note it says he's not lying. Not trying to down myself, but what would a popular person find in moi? A good person to cheat off of?
When I see Sasuke looking at me, I look at him and grin, laughing. But after that, he looks dissappointed. Did he really mean what he said? I am sooooo confused.
I just pass it off quickly so I can pay attention to Iruka-sensei.
"So, now I will tell you guys who your team and sensei is. Okay, this is team 7. Katana Nozohan, Naruto Uzumaki, Sasuke Uchiha, and Kakashi." I zoned out. Me and Sasuke will be in the same team and worst yet Sasuke might actually like me.
------Sasuke Pov------
Yes! I get to be on Katana's team and ask her if she likes me too. I looked at Katana and she looked at me with a shy smile. She looked as if she was upset. Did I say something in the note that desturbed her? Did she have a boyfriend already? All the possibilities rushed through my head. Then I saw everyone but Katana and Naruto stand up. I stood quickly and went over to Katana. She was doodling on a sheet of paper; a heart.
I stayed and asked to speak to Katana alone. "Hey, Katana, did you get the note I gave you?" She looked nervous and nodded. "I-i did. It's very sweet, I'm just not sure if it's true. You of all people liking a person so unlike any thing that suites you. I'm sure that we both know that you don't really like me. Hey if you want to prove the note true then let's have a wager. How about if you want to show me you care, you can help me with the first assignment from Kakashi and let me be one of the first to pass." I nodded my agreement.
