The changing

"Would you hurry up Mia! Were going to be late!" Lisa said, very annoyed I might add. She hates waiting, and can be extremely impatience. "Let her be Lisa. She just wants-" That is when I saw it, a spark, a glow in her eyes, I knew there was something different about her right then, I mean, maybe it was just me, but her eyes turned orange.

" Wants what? Soph, you acting so strange today. I mean, it is all of our birthdays today! Have some fun!"

" Whatever Lisa, she probably wants to get ready for Josh!" I say just loud enough for Mia to hear.

" I do not!!! Maybe I just wanna look nice? Did you two dorks ever think about that?" Mia is the sweetest person ever, but she can be very defensive. " Yeah, yeah. Let's get a move on things guys! I don't want to be late!" Lisa may be a rebel, but this type of rebel is never late.

"Hey, where were you guys?" Josh says as we arrive, ten minutes late.

" Why don't you ask your girlfriend Josh?" Lisa is super pissed about being late to the club.

" Wow," Jack checks his watch."I think that's a new record guys! Only ten minutes!" He exclaims, laughing.

"Shut up Jack, I'm going for a drink, you wanna come with me Mad?" Lisa asks.

"Sure," He mumbles, they walked off. We didn't even see where the"Lovebirds" went. So, just me and Jack. "Hey, you want to dance?"

"Sure?" He looks at me, no. He looked through me after asking me, like there was something stirring around in him. So we danced, drank, and had the best twenty first birthday ever!                                                                                                    We went back to my place and said bye to the boys, who knows what they'll do. " So where were you all night!?" I ask Mia.

"Yeah! You and Greg were gone like, the whole night! Tell us the dirty details!" Lisa says. I just want to know where she was. "Well, if you really want to know, me and Greg left the club and went back to his apartment." She squeals. "We went all the way this time!!!"

"No shit!" Lisa exclaims.

"Seriously?" I ask.

"Yeah! It was really, I don't know. I kind of felt meant to be? I mean, it was amazing but, it didn't feel wrong if you know what I mean." Mia tells us.

"Yeah, sure. If it was right, it was right." I say.

"Whoa, Mia, you feeling alright, your eyes...they're like...whoa. Did someone slip something in my drink?" Lisa asks. I get up from what I'm doing and go look at Mia. "Wow, Mia! Your eyes, they're green and blue!"

"What, like a mix of the two?" She asks.

"No, one eye is green, and the other is blue!" Lisa says. I take another look, and she's right! There is definitely something weird going on here with us.

Mia gets up and walks over to the mirror. Me and Lisa look at each other a bit worried. Mia has never been one for change.

"Cool," She says.
