Chapter 1

Damon's POV
Hey I'm Damon Salvatore. I'm nineteen years old and I lost my parents when I was fifteen. I also have a brother, Stefan Salvatore and we're helping each other. We don't need to get a job or something, we can survive without eating. Why? Cause we're Vampires. Yeah I know but its awesome to be a vampire. We're not killing people just to be clear. We're just drinking blood from the blood banks. Well yeah I know it's a crime to steal but it's better than to kill innocent people right? One of the awesome things I have in being a Vampire is compulsion. I can make people do what ever I want them to do or in other words it's hypnotizing. Just look in their eyes and say what ever you want. You can erase their memories and change it to a new one. I can hear things that normal people can't. I can hear things that are miles away from me. I can move fast that in one snap I'm out of your sight. The thing in being a vampire is...the people don't like you. That's why I'm afraid of losing someone I love, Paula, she's my girlfriend. She's my life.

Oh Paula Cruz she is just a simple girl that I love. Her parents died when she was little. All she have is her brother, Jeremy. Her relatives are the only one that supports her.

We live in Mystic Falls. Somewhere in a forest where no one couldn't find us. It has a shortcut to Paula's school so we could meet.

Here I am sitting on a bench waiting for her to come. Then suddenly someone cover my eyes. I smile at the thought that it was her.

Me: what took you so long?
I asked as she sat down beside me.
Paula: sorry, Mr. Roosebelt's fault. He announce so many menial things.
She said while making funny faces. We laugh at the thought of her.

Out of the blue...
Me: just kiss me
She just laugh at me and kiss me. I love her kisses it's like heaven.

Stefan: get a room
Paula pull away. Does he always going to interrupt our kiss? Damn Stefan.

Me: could you just go and pretend we aren't here?
I said full of annoyance. He just roll his eyes and left.

We got awkward so I decided to take her for a walk. Oh yeah did I mention that I made her drink my blood? Well yeah I have no choice. She was bump by a car. My blood can heal her so I made her drink my blood but when you have a blood of a vampire in you and you die you will turn into a vampire. Now I'm really taking care of her. I don't want her to know what I really am. If she knew maybe she'll just choose to die than being a monster like me.

Here she is walking beside me. Then she stopped. I just continue walking knowing that she's just going to play hide and seek with me.

Me: okay you wanna play hide and seek?
She didn't respond. It's too quiet and it's unecessary. I stoppec and look back at her. A vampire was holding her and bit her. I'm too late to save her. She lost so much blood. I run for the vampire and break his neck.
Me: you should never ever mess with a vampire!!

I run back to Paula but she's already dead. Sooner or later she'll br back to life but as a vampire. Transitions will start and once it's done she have to choose. Drink human blood and be a vampire so she could live or don't drink and die. I brought her back to my house and lay her on the sofa. Stefan come to me confuse of what happened.

Stefan: what happened?
Me: a vampire bit her and she lost so much blood. She's dead.
He bit his wrist for Paula to drink his blood. He was about to make her drink but I stopped him.
Me: I've done that
Stefan: so she'll come back as vampire?
Me: it's her choice to make
Stefan: does she know about us?
I shook my head no.
