Years ago Katherine met the Salvatore brothers in Bulgaria were she was born in 1734. Her family was strange people hiding secrets from her, making up lies, to hide The truth of the vampires and the hunters! 13 years later, Katerina found out and wanted to know more. She read her mothers grimuar and her fathers journals. She read that if u die with vampire blood in your system then u wake up in transition as a vampire. However, to complete that transition you had to kill an innocent soul. From that day Katherine always wanted to become what she had read of, witch by her surprise was incredibly
Hard to do since she didn't know any vampires to be willing to do this for her. So she put her dream on hold. 6 years later Katherine fell pregnant at the age of 19 with a baby girl. Her farther wasn't pleased and got rid of the baby straight away. She cried her mom to leave her alone, but there was no stopping her mean farther! Katerina immediately ran away but also got her self into some trouble 1 month back. Anyway she met this man that told her to run to a cottage where she will be safe with a wounded hip. A girl called Rose answered the door and let her in! Rose was a vampire and gave Katherine her blood to heal her wound... Rose left her alone for 2 minutes to get changed but Katherine instead hung herself ! She woke up and killed the house maid and ran and met Damon and Stefan Salvatore!
