"Ratchet..." Raf said quietly. He looked up at the bot as he worried.

"Hmm...." the bot hummed without looking up.

"Are you.... okay?" He whispered as he looked at him with concern. The medic raised his helm and looked at him.

"I'm.... I'm fine." He responded. "It just happens." He smiled a little and went back to work. They were quiet for a few minutes.

"Can..... you repair... sparks?" Raf asked quietly. The medic looked at him again and saw the genuine concern in his eyes.

"Rafael. I'm fine." He said gently. "I promise. You don't need to worry." He glanced at Optimus who was helping Bumblebee walk some more.

"Did you know...... that Megatron.... tried to crush your spark?" Raf asked quietly. Ratchet looked back at him.

"No..." he muttered. He wondered if he should check on his spark. The boy nodded as he looked at his hands.

The medic watched him for a moment. He looked around to make sure no one was looking. He then gently patted the boy on the head with his digit. A ghost of a smile on his face plate. The boy looked up and smiled sadly.

"Rafael, you have more to worry about than an old bot." Ratchet muttered quietly. The boy looked at him with tears in his eyes and hugged his digit tightly.

"I'm worried about my friend." Raf whispered quietly. He let go and walked off to finish working. The medic watched him go then stared down at the relic. He quietly went back to working on it.

Bulkhead stood at the computer screen as Smokescreen and Wheeljack played with the wrecker ball. Miko was cheering them on, which was better than her crying on the couch. Jack looked over at him as he leaned against the rail. The wrecker wasn't sure he wanted to be in charge.

The Decipticons had thankful kept quiet for the most part. Miko had joined them in battle when the cons did cause a problem. Jack had handled the bridge. Bulkhead had been hesitant to let her go, but she just put on the apex armor and went with. Earlier that day, they thought a transmission came in, but they couldn't clear it.

"Do..... you think.... they're okay?" Jack asked quietly. The last thing they had heard was Megatron killed Ratchet.

"I don't know..." the wrecker said quietly as he glanced at the others. He knew they were trying to remain occupied.

The computer beeped quietly and they heard static. Bulkhead stared at it unsure what to do. The other two walked over and stared at the screen as the static continued.

"Anyone know what to do?" Smokescreen asked as the two kids walked over. Bulkhead shook his helm afraid to touch anything.

"Don't everyone jump at once." Wheeljack said and started typing.

"Uh... do you know what you're doing?" Miko asked as she watched.

"Sure do kid. How do you think I've survived on my own for so long?" He said as he smirked. They watched him for a few minutes and the signal started to clear.

"Jackie you're full of surprises." Bulkhead chuckled as they heard voices. Wheeljack cleared it until he got a strong transmission.

"Did it work yet?" A voice asked. Mikos eyes widened and filled with tears.

"Raf!!" She screamed, and buried her head in her hands as she cried. He was alive! She leaned against Jack and he blushed deep red. He gently hugged her as she cried.

"That was loud. Hope that answered your question." Some mumbled. Miko cried harder as she heard them.

"Ratchet!!" Smokescreen yelled as he smiled big. "You're alive!!" The other side was quiet for a moment.

"Why wouldn't I be?" He snapped back slightly annoyed. It was silent again as Raf talked to him quietly.

"Oh..." Ratchet whispered.

"Is someone crying?" Raf asked with concern. Miko continued to sob.

"It's Miko." Jack replied as he looked at her.

"Is she okay?!" The boy asked slightly panicked. He knew she didn't cry often. Miko sniffed as she calmed down and wiped her eyes.

"I'm okay Raf." She said as she smiled. "Just glad to know you guys are alive." She smiled at the others.

"What do we do to get you guys back Doc?" Wheeljack asked. The medic grumbled and typed a little.

"I have to say. I didn't think I'd miss Ratchets grumbling." Bulkhead chuckled softly. More grumbling came from the other line.

"I don't think I can explain everything. I kind of have to be there..... and here."

"Give it a shot Sunshine." Wheeljack smirked. Miko laughed quietly, and Ratchet growled before giving them instructions.

The girl realized Jack was still hugging her. She blushed and gently pushed him away. He looked at her and blushed. She glared and punched him in the arm before walking closer to the wreckers. He rubbed the spot and smiled a little before walking to the other side to give her space.

"Ep! Ep! Ep! If you do that we'll lose the connection. You have to follow the instructions exactly, and tell me what your doing step by step." The three bots sighed in exasperation.

Smokescreen walked to the bridge controls as Bulkhead tried to figure out what to touch. Wheeljack was making sure the frame for the bridge was secured.

"Now type in the codes and sequence I told you to. If you enter it in properly, we'll be able to use the bridge to travel back." The medic explained.

"Uh.... what?" Bulkhead asked as he stared at the screen and keypad. Ratchet sighed and grumbled in annoyance.

"I got ya covered Bulk." Wheeljack said and typed away. "Just tell us when to pull the lever Sunshine." The wrecker smirked.
