The Fox Warrior

Prologue

Hi! My name is Lyra, a simple girl...well maybe not that simple. I was born in the royal family of Aria, this is already a lot... but not all. I was born with ears, fox ears. The royal family, my family, thought I was a monster, an alien, abomination, but it was not that way. They loved me very much, and took care of me for a while, until they decided to take me to the kingdom's sorcerer. The sorcerer examined me, and told the king and queen (and me of course) that I was special, different from the others... I don't really remember much of what he said, I was 5 so my memories are blurred. All I remember is that I had the ears and tail of a fox, and I was a skilled hunter. My brother, Aaron of Aria (and I was Lyra of Aria btw) taught me how to hunt from a young age. My parents did not like that very much, they kept telling me to be more ladylike, like my sister, Kawaii~Chan of Aria. She was better than me at everything. She was more ladylike than me, she was prettier than me, she was the family favorite. She envied my ears, and told the royal scientist to give her ears like mine. I was against that 100%, in fact, this was the first time my powers came to use. A pack of foxes came rushing into the lab,one of them, holding an overly sized cat. The scientist glared at me, I was growling. So.... long story short, my sister has cat ears and a tail. This is all i remember of my childhood, well,  maybe not all...

When I was smaller, around the age of seven, my family made an alliance with two other kingdoms, the Ro'meave kingdom, and the Meteli  kingdom. I quickly became friends with the sons of the families, specifically Laurence Zvahl of Meteli, we used to hunt together and every morning, before sunrise, we would secretly climb up to the roof of the tallest tower in my castle to watch the sun come up. I still remember it now... it was beautiful. I also became close friends with Zane of the Ro'meave kingdom. We used to hunt together too, till one day...
