BEEP BEEP BEEP! I reached over and smacked the button on the alarm clock. The glowing red numbers read 7:00. It was the first day of school. Ninth grade. I slowly stood up trying not to make myself extremely dizzy, and made my way to the kitchen to eat breakfast. After I ate, I trudged down the stairs to my room. I put on my clothes which was a grey t shirt and jeans. I put my wavy brown hair in a low ponytail. I walked to the front door and slipped on my dark grey converse.
"BYE MOM!" I yelled. I ran out the door and towards the bus.
"Good morning," the bus driver told me. I just smiled and nodded. I thought this day would be just like any other.
I looked above the windows for my sparkly name tag. I spotted it and walked towards the seat. I looked and there was a blonde boy, around my age sitting in the seat. I looked above my name and it read :Sam E. I sat beside him
"You must be Sam," I asked
"Yeah. And you're (Y/N)? I just moved here and I don't have any friends," Sam replied.
"We'll make me your first friend!" I said. His eyes lit up and he smiled. I just have to say he looked cute when he did that. We talked all the way to the school. He mentioned his brother, his mom and his dog. The bus halted to a stop and we were at the school of around 400 kids. I really liked going to a small school because you knew almost everyone. The whole school was Kindergarten to twelfth grade.
Sam and I walked to the doors and we walked in. All familiar faces. It was rare to find a new kid at this school. I showed him around the small school. It only took five minutes to see the entire school.
\THREE MONTHS LATER/
"Hey Sammy!" I said as I sat beside him on the bus. He grinned at me. It was Friday and I was excited to get home.
"So... I was wondering if you maybe wanted to hang out today?" He shyly asked.
"Sure. You can come to my house. I'll text my mom right now." There was a moment of silence, "She said that you're more than welcome to come!"
"Great."
The bus stopped at my house and we walked to the door. I swung the door open and entered the house.
"MOM I'M HOME!"
"OKAY!" She yelled from the kitchen.
"Hey Sammy I'll show you around. This is the living room. Kitchen and mom."
"Hello Sam. I'm (Y/M/N)."
"Hi." He said.
"Ok, bathroom and I'll show you the basement." We walked down the stairs and I walked to my room. "This is my room. Okay wait 'till you see this," I said as we walked in to the living room and I pulled a big barn door.
"Wow what is this?" He asked.
"A movie room! And we will be watching a movie in here by the way." He just laughed at what I said and by the look on my face.
\TWO HOURS LATER/
"What movie do you want to watch?" I asked.
"THE OUTSIDERS!" He said knowing I'd want to watch it too.
"YEAHHHHH!" We yelled at the same time.😊😊😊
The music started and the letters came across the screen.
The part where Dally gets shot is Sam's least favourite part. He scooted a bit closer to me and intertwined his fingers with mine. I up looked at him and smiled while he smiled back. I leaned my head on his shoulder. When the movie ended we walked to my room hand in hand and sat on the floor with our backs against the bed for a couple hours.
"We should go to sleep now," I suggested.
"Probably."
I laid on one end of the bed and Sam laid on the other. He broke the silence with "Hey (Y/N) are you cold?"
"Sort of." I answered. He flipped himself around to how I was laying and wrapped his arm around me. That ended the perfect night.
\CHRISTMAS EVE/
My family invited Sam's brother Michael, and mom to our family Christmas. Sam and I were putting up some decorations around my grandma's house.
Sam called my name "(Y/N)!"
"Sammy!" I copied. I walked over to see what he wanted.
"Ha! Gotcha!"
"Huh?"
He just pointed up and I saw the mistletoe above us. He pulled me in by the waist and kissed me passionately. We pulled away and held hands, intertwining fingers. I pulled Sam to the living room where Christmas music was playing on the radio.
/LATER\
All of the beds in the house were taken so we had to sleep on the floor in the basement. Two of the double sized beds were on either sides of us. We had a blanket to lay on and a blanket to put over top of us. I was laying down thinking of tomorrow. I really love Christmas. My thoughts were interrupted by Sam's arm swinging across me and him pulling closer. I closed my eyes and fell asleep almost instantly.
I woke up to Sam's mother closing the door of the basement.
"Sam, Sammy," I whispered trying not to wake up Michael. I kissed Sam on the cheek and he smiled and slowly opened his eyes.
We stood up and he pulled me into a hug and kissed me on my forehead.
"Merry Christmas," I said silently.
"Merry Christmas," he replied and kissed me right on the lips. It was perfect.
A/N: This one was pretty long. Please request! ;)
