In early September, all the girls strolled down the hallway in style. It was their freshman year at Clark Atlanta University and as they strolled the hallways of college all of them had one feeling in common; excitement. Erykah Campbell stood at 5'5, had light cream skin that accentuated her jet black hair in a middle part with a orange beanie hat . She was wearing a regular white tee with black pants was flashing her million dollar smile. That was the key to her alluring appereance:her smile. Naturally guys would flock to her because she seemed like a pretty light skin girl with a skinny frame, but when she would smile it was no hesitation that they wanted her. Also, whenever Erykah felt like it, she could dress down. Whether it was in a cute black dress with wedges or in baseball jersey in some sweat pants;either way she still looked good. Nefertiti Spring was getting annoyed that it was too many people in her way for the first day of college. I guess because it is the first day she thought. Nefertiti had dark ebony brown skin that brought out her kinky, black afro. She stood at 5'7 was sporting a wife beater with a auburn red sweater with blue jeans. Nefertiti was the most noble and wisest girl out of their whole crew. Not only did she graduate at the top of her class, she scored a 4.2 GPA the highest GPA in all of Carver High School. Nefertiti was ready to take on changes and that included tackling college studies.
He's sooo cute, thought Nyomei as she was eyeing the tall, brown cutie in front of her. He returned her glance and winked at her. Nyomei, being shy in her nature countinued to try to catch up with the rest of her friends. Nyomei Rayne was feeling the warm vibes on CAU right now. She had on a Nike sweat suit with her twist pushes back in a bun. It wasn't much to her, but to be honest she just wanted to feel comfortable on her first day at college.
Erykah may have been able to get guys because her of smile, but she didn't have nothing on Nyomei's hypnotic amber eyes. If one was to know Nyomei long enough they would know Nyomei's eyes changed colors when she was mad and it wouldn't be no use to lie to her because them amber eyes would be able to see tomorrow.
"So what y'all think?" asked Nyomei.
"Girrrl, there are so many fine boys here!" exclaimed Erykah. "This is like a all you can eat buffet and i see so many appetizers that I can try out."
"Be careful. You try too many you gonna end a hoe" warned Nefertiti.
"Like she ain't already one" mumbled Nyomei. The two girls giggled at their little joke, but Erykah was not amused.
"Whatever. Y'all mean to tell me if one guy was to approach you you would stay with that guy through this. All of this-" She stopped to draw a wave over at a group of sophomore boys on the bench. "Duh it's called to being faithful" Nefertiti rolled her eyes. "Of course you'll say that. You been with Jai for three years." "And we are so in love" Nefertiti smiled as she thought about her boyfriend. "I thought you said he supposed to meet you here this morning, so y'all can walk to class together" responded Nyomei. "He is. He might be running late."

"Wassup Knowledge".
"What's going on, G?" responded Saphere. Most people at Carver called Saphere knowledge because she was always spitting knowledge in any field. Saphere and Nefertiti were both smart, but Saphere was more intellectual; she was always thinking about something in the past, issues, or her music would take her mind to different places. Saphere Flame was only 18, but had the wisdom of a woman late in her thirties. She loved to write poetry, particularly about her dreams and aspirations. Standing at 5'5, wearing a shirt with a portrait of Tupac on it and some white ripped jeans Saphere was all about changes. She even changed her long hair, which she shaved on the left side and had crochet twist filling her head. The same changes she made to her hair that made her stand out that was the same changes she was ready to make at Clark.
"Look at Knowledge lookin' all fresh" said Erykah. "As always".

Saphere grinned as she gave her best friends a hug. It felt good to see her friends, since she only saw a couple of them over the summer. "Damn it feels good to get back in the grind of things" said Saphere. "Nigga its just college, not a drug cartel" laughed Nefertiti.
"Titi!" An eager, deep voice called out. Nefertiti turned around to see Jai wrapping his arms around her. A smile came across her face as she gave him a kiss." I thought you said you were gonna be here early". She gave him a pound on his chest. "I know, but I got caught up with DeVonte and you know that nigga is crazy."
"How is he?"
"He straight. We actually take poltical structures together." Jai leaned over and whispered"So you wanna still get some breakfast by the cafe". He had a michevious grin and Nefertiti knew what he was basically asking was for an early morning make out session.
"Only breakfast" she smirked.
