Game Bound

Starting stages

"Dude we need some new games to blast through Mason. Playing the same Shooters and RPGs are getting old,dude." claimed Chris Stalik, Mason's best friend since the third grade while laying on his bed looking at the ceiling."Fine man lets get our lazy asses up and go game hunting then." Mason exclaimed leaning against a wall in his room. Chris jumped off of Masons bed, scaring him.

So they both hop on their bikes and pedal down the street to town. Chris and Mason start making noise and knocking over trash cans as they zoomed down the street. People gave them fucked up looks and yell at them.

They finally got into town and Chris spots a pawn shop on the corner." Hey Mason. A pawn shop they might have games that we never even heard of you know?" Chris said. "Yea lets look i guess." said Mason. They both drop their bikes out in front of the shop and walk in. Half the lights on and the rest either flicker or just dont work.

The cashier is smoking so the air feels a little thick and hard to breathe. They walk over to the dvds and games and start to browse through them quick. Chris sees a black cased game with gold lettering on it. " Mason i think i found a game you might like."said Chris."Name. Give me a name you rag. Just don't say i might like it without telling the name. For all you know i might have played it." barked Mason. "Pixel Demons. Its and RPG I think. So it would float in your catagory you 84 dark magic no life looser." laughted Chris." Man you just upset because you can't get your rogue to level up quick. So you feel like you're falling behind you level 32 scrub punk." Mason scolded. They both stood there for a minute just looking at each other and then start to laugh." I give it a try though." Mason said taking the case from Chris and walking up to the store clerk.

The clerk with a smoking cough said" You like playing with creatures boy?" Mason looked at the clerk and spoke" Well in games similar to this one there are a lot of creatures so yea. By the way how much for it?" The clerk shook his head sending cigarette ash everywhere" Nothing. For soon you will pay the price for it." Mason looked back at Chris and sarcastically said" Oh no a price ill pay so scary." he then walked out of the shop taking the game and waited for Chris who soon followed not finding a game the interested him.

On the way back to Mason's house Chris' mother called telling him to come home so he ducked off home three blocks before Mason's street. Mason finally gets home and goes up to his room to play the game. He puts it in his computer and lets it load up and download." Keys or controller." he read. Mason reading that figures to play with the controller." Why not. I mean i have the stupid controller for a reason." he exclaimed hooking the controller up.

He loads the game and puts in his ear buds. The title screen appears PIXEL DEMONS with a yellow outline on the words making them to seem like they're 3d. "Flashy" Mason commented as he started the game. The options of male, female, race, hair style appeared on the screen. After spending what seemed to be ages he had finally finished making his avatar for the game. The 5"6 purple toned yellow hawked ogre name Why You Do This was more born so to speak." Huh sort of has a Diablo lay out, but a skyrim feel and look. Gonna be pretty interesting." said Mason talking to himself.
