I couldn't believe it. I had finally found a decent boy that I liked, who actually liked me back, and now he's over 1,000 miles away from me and won't even answer a text? What's wrong with the world.
My name is Elizabeth, but my friends call me Lizzy. I'm almost 14 and finishing up middle school. My best friend and the one I fell in love with, his name is Caleb. His dad's job made it so they had to move to arizona, away from me, here in maine. I miss him dreadfully. And I know he misses me, too, but I'm devastated without him. I loved him so much more than I thought I could ever love anyone. And he loved me, too. He's the one who said it first. All of my friends are trying really hard to comfor me, they all know since he left I've been more depressed. I don't smile anymore. Who new that one person in your life for less than nine. Months, and now he's gone, I feel like I've been crushed.
And this is when I knew I needed someone to distract me.
