It happened again, I thought as I looked at the clock on my night stand, which read 3:47 am. I sometimes wake up around this time from these horrible recurring dreams they are always the same. They have never changed since I was five. They did not happen as often when I was younger, but it occurs more and more now that I am older. I don't know why they happen, and why they are always the same. It starts out with this man who I can not see his face, he is walking alone one night in the woods and this shadow is following him, then it goes black for a moment and then I see a puddle of blood next to this no face dead man. I have never seen the killer's face either. I have only told my mother about this dream once. When I first started to have it, she thought it was just because I watched a scary movie, as I thought as well, but that is not the reason. The dreams do not bother me as much, it is who is in the dream that bothers me. I feel as if I am the one being hunted, I am a tall lanky 19 year old boy with dirty blond hair, why would anyone want to hunt me down.

I lied in my bed till' five am, then decided to get up. I walked out of my room and down my apartment hallway and into my kitchen. I looked in the fridge for some breakfast. "Nothing to eat, wow", I said underneath my breath, in my deserted apartment. I took it upon myself to go to the market and get some eggs.

It was a dark morning, I thought as I got into my car. I drove drown Harrison St then I got on Forden Lane, the stopped at the market. As I walked through the automatic doors my friend Jacob greeted me as did I.

"Hey Hunter, whatcha up to ?", Jacob said as I walked in.

"What's up Jacob, I am just here to pick up some breakfast items", I replied.

After we greeted each other I went to get my items and headed to the checkout. I went to walk out, and at the same time Jacob had called my name.

"Hunter, dude"

"Yea?"

"What are you doing Saturday?"

"Nothing most likely, why?"

"I heard the carnival is back into town and the other guys are gonna go, you should go to there is gonna be a lot of babeage."

I spoke hesitantly,"Um, alright sure. What time?"

"Noon"

"Okay see you later", I said Smiling.

"Bye", Jacob said with a grin.

I got into my car and drove back to my apartment.

Saturday had come and I was still hesitant about going to the carnival. I felt that if something was not right. I drove down to the carnival, everyone in my little town was going. I had waited for my friends for an hour before I thought that they were probably not going to show up, so I headed on out of the carnival. As I was on my way out, there was this small tent set up. That had the words written Adria The Fortune Teller , on top of the entrance of the tent. I had debated on wether if I was gonna go in to see if she could answer my questions to my dreams, and see if they are real. I walked closer to the tent and the more I walked closer to it, I felt a certain kind of warmth, like a warm hug you get from a family member you have not seen in awhile. I walked through the slit in the tent which was the entrance. It was a gloomy room there was little trinkets everywhere, there was a certain familiar aroma in this tent. There was a young lady sitting in front of this crystal ball.

"Hunter... is that you ?" she asked skeptically.

"Uh... yes ma'am" I replied shocked.

The lady stood up from her table with the crystal ball on it, and turned toward me. Her hair looked silky and her eyes were so blue they made the dark room light up.
