Charlies Back

Erin's pov

"Hey Erin some guy came looking for you, said his name was Charlie also said that its been awhile?! He had black shaggy hair, hot, smelt like cigarettes and alcohol" Platt told me as I walked back up from the cage to go talk to Halsteads CI.

"Umm ..... Ok thanks....." I said as I walk away from the desk Halstead gives me a look of concern which I ignore and walk away like every thing is fine.

Jays pov

On the way to my CI's house the car ride over was completely silent , I was worried about Erin, she is my partner , my best friend , my girl , the one I want to spend the rest of my life with and the woman to be the mother of my children , after the night Erin and I went to her high school reunion ........

I stare into her eyes and I grabbed her hand she looked down "we can't " "I know " I said sadly because of Voight's dumbass rules about "no in house romance " , "well let's get you home now" I said standing up as she gets up too. She looks down then back up into my eyes "Maybe one day" I smile at her "oh definitely "
From that night on I've been waiting for our one day when we finally let ourselves just be in love no matter what Voight says .

We walk up to the door......

Erin's pov

As jay knocks on the door I stare at the ground thinking about Charlie and how he is back . All of sudden I hear Jay trying to get me out off my  daydream.

"Erin....Erin......ERIN" Jay says waving his hand in front of my face ,

"Hmm.. What , yeah ?" I say trying to play it cool

"So..... Who's this Charlie guy ?"Jay asks and I'm debating do I tell him the full story  or do I just say he was friend which he was not.

"Just someone I use to run with back in the day " I say trying to make him sound like no big deal but Jay could tell that he wasn't just someone I hung out with he was someone who impacted my life but not in the good kind of way

"Someone you use to run with or someone you use to run from " he said concerned but joking at the same time

" I can handle it" I reinsured

Jays pov

"Hey buddy what's up man this is my partner Detective Lindsay  .... Oh god what is that" I say looking at the computer seeing that he was back into he old habits

"It's nothing" he choked out as he shut the computer

" I thought you were see a therapist about this but anyways we need you to look up this guy his name is Pulpo " I said as he looks up this guy we found out info and go talk to this woman then it was the end of Erin and I's shift

Erin's pov

"Wow thank you J-" I stopped and froze and saw who was at the door of the station

"Um hey Charlie, what are you doing here?" I said nervously

"You know came back to as hi to some friends and my girl " he said trying to make it sound like we are together , as I turn my head and Jay is in utter complete shock.
As Charlie came over to give me a hug I flinched as he tried to hug me and I knew Jay saw me flinch as I stepped back  didn't say anything

"I'm not "your girl" " I give him a death stare

" Fine but how ya doing I heard your a cop but I don't believe it for a second " Charlie says before I could say anything thing Jay cuts in .
