Leaving home---Chapter 1

(Hello and welcome to Ashengir,my second book. I wil try to update as much as possible but school,or prison as I like to call it,is right around the corner. Well, lets get right into the book, shall we?)

Jacob PoV

I ducked,kicking an orc as it swung at me with its huge mace." Just die already, filthy human!", it roared." Nah, I'm good!!", I yelled while ramming it with my shoulder,knocking it down. I run past the orc,only to tun into an undead." I can't wait to eat your flesh,human!", it said in a raspy voice, as it lunged at me. I dodged, then kicked its head,knocking it off." Not today!". There was a small cottage ahead. I ran in,closed the door,and locked it.' Dont know why I locked it,that orc could just bash in.' I thought. I searched the wardrobe and found a short sword inside." Not my kind of weapon but, ok."

The door shattered to pieces knocking me down. I see the orcs bulky figure approach me. It gets ready to bash my skull in." Night night, Jacob!" It swung down.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" I sat up in bed,breathing heavily. I wiped my forehead. There was lots of sweat." It was just a dream.". I say to my self. I stood up, walked to the window and looked out. The sun was about to rise. 'Well I better get ready' I thought to myself. Oh I forgot to introduce my self.(fourth wall break) I am Jacob Murlocheart. I am 20 years old and I love fighting. I am a holy warrior,or a Paladin. Today is the day I leave home to set out on the quest I planned for years.

I run my hand through my blonde hair. " Where is my armor?" I look under my bed,in my closet, every where."JAYDEN! COME HERE!", I yell. I hear feet running down the hall and my door open. I turn around to see a little girl that has the same features as me, but much smaller. Her long blonde hair is in twin pigtails. Her small blue eyes make her look even more innocent. Her small, pink dress is covered in dirt and other,mysterious stains." Do you know where my armor is?"." Yes it's in my room."." How many times do I have to tell you not to mess with my stuff?"." Ummmm...". She quickly runs out the door. I walk out my room down our wooden hallway. I opened her door to find a small toy jungle." Uuuuh... How am I going to find it in here?", I groan.

Time skip

I am currently eating breakfast with my family. My Dad,Rod,Mom,Nikki, and my sister,Jayden." So Jacob, when are you setting off to Stormwind?",mom asked." Yeah, your leaving sometime today aren't ya?", dad said." Im leaving after breakfast.", I answered, finishing my food." Well, I aught to be going.", I said , walking to my parents,hugging them." We love you Jacob, be careful.",they both said in unison." I will. I love you!" I reached the door and was about to turn the handle when I felt something wrap around my leg. Jayden was hugging my leg." Dont go!", she said, tears in her eyes.

I bend down and pick her up and I spin her around in the air as she laughs. I then pulled her into a hug." I can take care of myself. I will be back. I promise." I then kissed her on the forehead. I set her down and grab my warhammer, Pathmaker, and walk out the door. I take in big whiff of air."Aah... Adventure awaits"

Time Skip

I was on the trail to Stormwind when I heard a scream. I followed the noise to find an elf woman surrounded by bandits. She had dark red hair, a freckled face, and crystal green eyes. She had leather armor with hood that was currently down. On her back was a bow. She was fending them off with two steel daggers. I gripped the handle of Pathmaker, ready to fight but noticed she was doing pretty well.

I lunged at a bandit stabbing him through the eye and heart. I turned, got my bow, Isami and shot an enchanted fire arrow at a bandit making him explode killing 4 others. I felt a sharp pain in my back. I stabbed behind me, killing the bandit. My vision got blurry and my legs got weak.' He poisoned me, crap.' I thought. I fell to the ground. Before I passed out, I saw a man leaping high in the air and smashing his hammer on the ground near me, creating a wave of light killing each bandit. He then approached me. Before he reached me I passed out.

I woke up in a bedroll,in a tent, next to a fire." Where am I?", I asked my self. I looked at my back and it was bandaged up. I heard the tent flap move,turned around, and tried to reach for Isami, but he (thats right, he. Ill tell you soon) wasnt there. It was that guy from earlier. " Oh, I see your awake. Have a nice rest?", he said." Who are you?!", I demanded. " I'm the guy that saved your butt back there.". I loosened up a bit, but still ready to fight if I had too. He made a 'follow me' gesture with his hand and walked outside. I followed him to see we were in a small clearing. There was a small fire with a log next to it. He sat down on one end and I sat on the other. It was quiet for a bit until he spoke up," So, Whats your name?"

I was playing with one of my knives I found while leaving the tent." You first."." The names Jacob Murlocheart. Now yours."."...Sky Amber..."." Well, Sky you should get some rest. Im leaving tomorrow for my adventure and then you can be off. Or, you can leave right now, if you want.", he said, munching on a piece of meat that was cooking on the fire. "Actually, can I travel with you. I got nothing else to do."." Why not. I need the company. You should head to sleep if your gonna' travel with me." I nodded and went in the tent. I sat there for a bit waiting for Jacob." Hey are you coming or no?"." If you havent noticed, that was the only bedroll. I wasnt expecting company.", he said extinguishing the fire by stomping it." Oh, well, arent you gonna come in the tent its gonna get pretty cold out there.", I asked. He stood there thinking for a second." Eh, sure. I dont wanna freeze." He said, making his way to the tent. I went inside and laid in the bedroll. He came in,stomped the fire out, and went to a corner at laid down. It soon got quite." Goodnight Jacob."." Night Elf."
